Track from whom you have these thoughts. People do not talk to themselves like that. Look back.

Ahhhh, Yes!! I see so many people who base their identity upon the negative thoughts they have, when really I believe the negative thought feels negative because it's a sign that the thought you are having is in opposition of what you know (on some level) to be true about yourself. I believe if you want to know who you truly are, make note of the thoughts that feel best to you.

Dude I completely agree! I believe negative thoughts and emotions give us feedback. There's a reason it doesn't feel good and it's usually because it's not in alignment with your true nature. You're on it!

Great video. Wallowing in negativity is a waste of time and most often has to do with only our perception of a situation, which keeps us stuck and apathetic. Getting unstuck means replacing a paradigm (pattern of thought) that drains our energy, over to a positive paradigm, which empowers us, and is far more productive and useful and accurate of how reality actually is.

It's probably silly but my life is mostly trading card games right now. I'm always being told though that my choices are wrong and that I'm barely learning anything and even been told to just quit playing my favorite deck or outright changing it completely. I play games for fun and sure if like to do my best at them but I don't want to be a competitive player. Right now whenever I get my main ace card I just crack and fall apart inside. Finding this video though I'm sure may help me start enjoying my games more and be happier through my life. Thanks man for this. I actually am trying a new thing now with it and going to test it out in about 6-10 hours from now (5:30am xD) I just feel excited. Might need to treat these thoughts like they're making me feel. Broken and cracked. Very helpful and I'm highly likely going to watch more of your videos. Thanks once again

Late, but regardless; it's not their fault they're so negative (in most cases, but some people are for the attention aspect,) we're animals of nature and when you've been told all of your bad qualities for so long and never been complimented on what's good in you, you start to only see those negative things, you think what's good about you isn't true, because no one else seems to have noticed those qualities. Don't just assume that you should ignore them because if you talk to them about their problems you're giving them what they want, that's ignorant, just tell them what's good about them, even if they brush it off or say "oh no you're wrong blah blah blah" just tell them "that's the truth, and no matter how hard you've convinced yourself there's no good in you, I see it, and I realize it." You could make their day and you could start their revelation in self awareness and confidence.

Hi Martin, very nice video. You really reminded me a lot of stuff. Because of "life", i had forgotten that all these pesimistics thoughts weren´t actually real. See i read a lot about chinese metafhysical theories, and what they say is that thoughts are consequence of the actual state that your vital organs are on in the inside. This concept is pretty basic stuff for them, but it´s absolutly true. For instance: if you have a tendency to experience anger as a predominant emotion or behavior, well that means, according to them, that you have problems in your liver. Fear is related to your kidneys, so they treat with acupuncture or any of the other therapies, the channels in your body that feeds those particular organs restoring the energetic flow in the body. What im saying is that this video reminded me of that critical fact: i shouldn´t "listen" to my thoughts %100 of the time but to take action in transforming them into something else. Different topic: you ever read eckhart Tolle? he says exactly what you say about pulling yourself out of the equation when having negavite thoughts and instantly recognize them instead of naturally accepting them. The power of now is the name of the book

I listen to the annoying, negative voice in my head way too much. I'm definitely going to try mocking it! Thanks for sharing.

Plus, it's so refreshing to see someone exude such passion in what they're talking about. Nice to see this style of video without that air of 'we're feeling sorry for you'.

I've decided from today I'm changing my lifestyle and gaining control over my thoughts and have more positive thinking thanks to your videos. I have to ask though, how long until my feelings will follow this trend? My body still automatically feels an emotion even when I'm not thinking anything in my head, but if something that makes me anxious or upset comes up (for ex a conversation topic of an upcoming social event). I have social anxiety and was just wondering how long should I expect for my brain to change its way of thinking and etc. How long did it take you?

Susie Velasquez Hey Susie! I love it!! That's great :) Tbh I don't remember the exact time period. It usually depends on how deep and intense you go because you're conditioning new emotional states and ways of thinking. I'd recommend you do it daily, something simple in the morning like practicing and FEELING gratitude in your life.
