Aikman 2k That is so true and you know what I’m not Lying when I say this but I was playing for the 6th grade team I had awesome year there blocked a punt 10 sacks great year so the next year rolled around and was about to join the 7th grade team but one of the 8th grade coaches went up to me and said “boy I was watching you last year and you know what I want you to play for the 8th grade team I believe you have the skill” so I did and everyone said you are going to fail but you know what I had starting positions on all sides of the ball I had another amazing year

I have nothing but a goal. I started playing football on the Pee Wee level when I was 5, and loved it. Then when I was 9, my family moved to Europe. My dad and mom told me that it's hard but I have to let go of the game. I refused. I simply refused to give up. I searched the internet with my dad and found a team in my area that was only for 19 and older and fully coached in French. I still joined. Didn't play, but I practiced my ass off every opportunity I got. 3 years later, I started triathlon and did 14 hours of training a week. When I turned 16, I found a team in Germany where I discovered I can play 12 games a season full-time. Only problem was it was 2 hours away from my house and coached in yet another language I didn't understand. I went for it, and started at DE. I'm about to start my first season there in the spring and I keep grinding. Trust in God and never stop until you die. That's the only way you'll ever succeed. You can tell yourself there's so-and-so reason that you can't do this or that, but at the end of the day the only thing that can stop you is in the mirror.
I stopped playing football right after my sophomore year of high school. Captain middle LB of the defence and I regret not continuing to play. I'm now a senior and I see teammates that I know that were just as talented as me, and if not less talented getting D1 and D2 scholarships. My words of advice is to you young players is to never quit and always be on your grind because in the end it will all be worth it. Dont quit like I did.
Tyler Moore I quit in the middle of my junior year and I regret it because I was a 4 star defensive Back and had 2 offers from D1 schools but I never committed :/
Cristian Contreras yea bud a 4 star wouldn’t quit football like that. I know u get burnt out but if ur that close ur coach will push tf out of u to not quit and will basically make u not quit.
You can still play if you want. Try to contact California Junior colleges. They don’t give athletic scholarships but that also means great opportunity to get out and play. You can transfer up to play at a 4 year after two seasons at a jc. Tuition is only 300 per unit for out of state residents. Aaron Rodgers played at a California junior college. Many others that are now very successful in football!!
I sold my Xbox and my smart phone I just use a flip phone to call and a computer to work and study I learned that my video games distracted me from what I want you and be as great as you can imagine I currently play TE and safety I was a bench warmer but now I'm starter never give up keep grinding for what you want

When you know you’re gonna have to prove yourself and everyone at your last school thought you sucked. When you know this is how you’re gonna have the chance to make it to d1 sports. When you know you have to prove yourself that you’re just not another new kid. It hits different. Can’t stop cuz when the other guys stop you take their place. The grind is real
was the worst, smallest, and weakest player on the 7th-grade football team, my coach even said to my face "You're not good enough to be on my team, You need to work harder, You are embarrassing our team" 3 years later freshman in high school, I still remember what he told me. I've trained for these past 3 years and that one sentence has been fueling it all. 3 years ago- 98lbs 5'5 not working out Present day-145 5'8 and benching 175 and can beat most of the varsity players in a 40. 3 years ago i kept telling myself to give up and id never go far, But look at me now, Ive come so far and am so happy of myself. Im going to keep grinding until I prove that coach wrong, The gring never stops so follow your dreams and you WILL make it.

I just joined Highschool Football today as a Freshman. Man I'm so lazy I puked after running 400 yards in conditioning in my first practice. I was thinking about quitting but now I know I just gotta keep pushing until I'm used to it. This speech is making me want to continue, and I'll listen to it every single day that I feel I can't push. My freshman year my football team went 3 rounds deep and the coaches had us watch these type of videos before every game and it never once hyped me up lmao.
Whatever you do always push ur self, I worked my ass off for a spot just to get removed from the position, and that was not where I liked to play but I played at least and then yep it was gone, but I got some reps on defense where I usually play and I made about 4 tackles on 5 plays, lets just say everything happens for a reason
If there’s anyone seeing this that plays baseball here are 2 good examples ... For baseball you may go 0-10 and feel like your never gonna be good enough to ever go anywhere in that sport . But what if the next 10 you were 10-0 ? How would you feel ? Put in the work for that , whatever your struggling at and make it happen. For football , I’m The Running back , so if you were to only get 30 rushing yards because “ your line wasn’t blocking” make them and you push eachother to get better every single day , you may be the faster person in sprints but help someone else out by pushing them making them want to do good!
I'm 5'9 165 pounds and I play Running Back for my highschool team. On my grind right now to get faster and stronger until teams won't take me lightly when I get a handoff.

Take it for granted and use that as a building block because no matter what you do everyday, you get better and better. Time progresses in a way of you grind. “Don’t go to sleep until you succeed” Once you do D1 you are allowed to rest, but for only for 1 second. There’s plenty of opportunities out there for my football players in America and around the world to play on Sunday’s. Allow yourself to become the best that you have ever been in your life. Don’t give up on the things that you love because the opportunities for you to dream big is out there waiting for you!
