When I heard the intro for the first time I knew I would love the rest. I also figured it would end with those incredible harmonies just the way they came into the song. Sure enough it did. Not the lyrics that made me love it, but those backing vocals harmonizing and the orchestra music accompanying them.
I never tire of the beginning and ending harmonies. Wish the ending was a bit longer. Oh somebody could edit it for a slightly longer ending with just one more course of those incredible harmonies!!
Classic 4 part harmony ! I own 4 albums on vinyl, & 2 CD's by The Vogues. Loved these guys ! Ernie Freeman did the arrangements & orchestration, Dick Glasser produced. 1st class, all the way. RIP, to all members who have passed. --------------------------MJL< 75 y/o
WOW This really happened to me. We were together for ever and one day it all ended. So hard to say goodbye. Just goes to show us, there is No guarantees . Maybe some day we can BE Together again, over the rainbow. UNTIL THEN, GOT A LITTLE TEAR IN MY EYES. WHY "GOD" BOBBY ~!~

I'm a huge fan of The Vogues and it's hard to pick a favourite, but there is something so very special with THIS song!!! Its melody, arrangement, combination of their voices, etc .... it just touches you!!!!
