  • Dany Bill is a 7-Time World Muay Thai champion from Muay Thai's golden era and touted as possibly the most technically gifted fighter to ever compete in the sport of Muay Thai. He won the coveted Kings Cup in Thailand in it's inaugural year of 1993, to the dismay of over one hundred thousand Thai locals who had no familiarity with the African-European fighter. Amateur fighter, photographer and podcast host Charles Little II catches up with Dany Bill and Muay Thai trainer Shawn Yacoubian immediately following Dany's training seminar at Yacoubian Muay Thai Academy in Chatworth, California. Dany shares insights from his unique journey, locker-room stories and inside information behind his numerous victories against the best Muay Thai fighters across the globe during Muay Thai's celebrated Golden Era. Dany Bill is actively sharing his experience through Muay Thai training seminars, individual training sessions and consulting. You can find Dany Bill on Instagram @danybillofficial.

    Interviewing one of the all time greats of Muay Thai is NOT the time to keep talking about yourself.

    The fact he wasn’t taught but only trained Muay Thai says a lot..

    He's saying don't work yourself up being scared of getting scared in the first place. It sounds so simple lol
    All the greats in every fighting sport say that calm comes from faith in themselves or their teachers and idols who they study and copy.

    Dany Bill and Ramon Dekkers are still untill today 2020 the 2 best non (foreigner) Muay Thai boxers of all time. And Rob Kaman ofcourse.

      @@abcdef-kx2qt With k man, you mean Rob Kaman. Am i right? And by saying "NO" you mean two say Rob Kaman at the time was not the best non thai boxer? You know his time was before Dekkers and later also Bill. Even you can not compare Kaman with Dekkers or Bill. Kaman was much more heaver. But if not Rob Kaman, who was (non thai) better then Kaman at that time? You know Rob Kaman was 9 times world champion Muay Thai/kickboxing?

      first watch k man`s training video set . this is an indication of his very limited low leverl muay thai skill set compared even to children .
      k man was not a femur - technician of any kind.
      k man was *** always backing out *- that is NOT real muay thai !!!
      DID k man ever do a clinch THROW ??????

He is a dutch man. And he was more then good. 1 more time. 9 times world champion Muay Thai. And a legend. Lock what you say about Rob Kaman. Unbevieble. From witch country you are?

      Totalmente de acuerdo. Invade el espacio de Bill, le cuestiona las respuestas (como lo de que en París veía muay thai en tv, claro que sí...en algunos países se recibían señales de países tan curiosos como Tailandia) el sonido es mejorable....además la entrevista es a Danny Bill. A veces parece al revés....

    Dany Bill speak no respect about Ramon dekkers. Buffelo style. Bullshit. Ramon's kicks where extremly powerful. And more he was a very but very good boxer aswell. His punches where like a heavy weight, so powerful. And when Dany fight Ramon 1997 Ramon had 4 operations on his left enkel. Dany Bill was good. But not so as Ramon dekkers.

      Then Why did Dekkers lose

    • @closeredge5198
      @closeredge5198 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You sound very hurt, and full of excuses regarding Dekkers convincing loss to Bill, when they were at a similar rank. I like Dekkers, but if he couldn't knock guys out , he became very susceptible to getting touched up, and that's exactly what Dany Bill did to him, dominating him in the clinch, and landing a devastating head kick....that has little to do with a bad knee, and it's not Bill's fault he couldn't preserve his body
