I yelled Cool Ranch Doritos right before Mamrie revealed them as her number one, and when SHE said Cool Ranch Doritos I threw my hands up in the air and went “YEEESSSSS”
As a Canadian listening to this podcast I've realized how many of my favourite chips are specifically Canadian.... Hawkins cheezies, all dressed chips, hickory sticks, ketchup chips, popcorn twists... I never realized 😂. Out here having revelations about myself at 1:45 am listening to this podcast knowing I have to get up for work in 5 hours.
As an American who just visited Canada for the first time and tried ketchup and all dressed chips-I did not understand them. They were both so tangy! Like almost to the point where they puckered my mouth like a sour candy. I had only heard people rave about them but just wasn’t into them sadly.
I had all-dressed chips in Canada for the first time a couple of years ago and they were so delicious, and then ruffles brought them out down here in the states and they were sooooo disappointing. They changed the recipe in someway and they were just muted in flavor. We do have a brand called Zapp’s and they have a Voodoo flavor, it’s the closest I can find to Canadian all dressed. Also they had a limited edition Tabasco Ketchup one and it was so freaking good.
I tried to put this on in the background while I’m working but instantly got too invested in the chip discussion so I’ll have to come back when I can give this ranking the true undivided attention it deserves
Justice for Wavy Lays!! They are infinitely better than ruffles. At the next cook out scoop up some baked beans with a wavy lay. You won’t be disappointed. Also hickory BBQ wavy lays are elite! Mamrie talking about sun chips last week and not mentioning them this week is hilarious!
There's a powder lime seasoning that could probably turn the regular scoops into the lime chip they are describing. They sell it in various forms and packaging at grocery or liquor stores.
Mornin’ ya’ll! These ranking episodes are fun. My favorite chip is Lays classic flavor lightly salted (light blue bag). Stay sweet and take care ♎️☮️. P.S. I forgot about Munchos potato crisps, my 2nd fav
During high school marching band season, Bugles dipped in chocolate frosting was my friend's and I's go to bus snack for long rides to away games or competitions.
My 7th grade lunch (in 1998) every day was a can of Welch’s strawberry drink, a little debbie cosmic brownie, and cool ranch Doritos! Now, I prefer nacho cheese Doritos. But if I had to pick one chip to not have any calories, it would be Lay’s classic.
Oh my gosh, so similar!!! Every day of middle school mine was also the strawberry Welch’s in a can, hot Cheetos, and a star crunch cookie. Hopefully both of us figured out a different version of a balanced meal these days 😂
I typically watch the episodes twice, like once with my brain off using the podcast as white noise and once fully engaged and participating, and I'm so glad when I did "brain off" I was sick and weak stomached because now that I'm better I'm immediately going to the store to spend too much money on chips.
1 - Sun chips (any flavor) 2 - Hawaiian Sweet Maui Onion 3 - Stacy’s Pita chips 4 - Tortilla chips (the ones at Mexican restaurants) 5 - Original Lay’s with tapatío and lemon (eaten with chopsticks) 6 - Lay’s BBQ 7 - Kettle Salt and Pepper 8 - Kettle Salt and Vinegar 9 - Any honey mustard 10 - Fritos original (as part of a taco salad)
Listened on Spotify first, but my list is 1. Ceviche flavored plantain chips (I'm from Baltimore and it sounds like something out of central America but they're so good) 2. Carolina style BBQ chips 3. Jalapeño cheddar cheetos 4. Sweet and spicy doritos (purple bag) 5. Bacon and cheddar potato skin chips 6. Dill pickle chips 7. Salt and vinegar 8. Mediterranean root chips 9. Cheese curls 10. Sour cream and cheese pringles
It’s pretty common in the south to use bugles to make what’s called white trash or dog chow with white chocolate! Y’all would prob love that if you are interested in trying them with cream cheese frosting!
cape cod salt and vinnies!! yes mamrie! I put them in my tuna or egg salad sandwiches :3 1. Kettle's jalapeño 2. Ruffle's cheddar sour cream 3. Zapp's voodoo 4. Miss Vickies spicy dill pickle 5. Herr's ketchup chips 6. Ruffle's hard ridge sour cream and onion 7. Frito scoops 8. Hot cheetohs (not with lime) 9. Cheddar sun chips 10. Dorito's salsa verde
Slow work day so I am participating babyyyyy!!!! 1. Lay’s Baked BBQ (can’t stop, will down the whole bag every time) 2. Flaming Hot Cheetos 🔥 3. Lay’s Flaming Hot Dill Pickle (these SHOULD be #1 but no stores near me stock them anymore 😢) 4. Cheetos Puffs 5. Funyuns 6. Cheese Doritos 7. Frito Scoops 8. Kettle Sea Salt & Vinegar 9. Guinness Chip (A surprise discovery in a snack crate) 10. Tostitos Cantina Thin & Crispy tortitortilla chips (at the bottom due to: In hopes of a dip, and that dip specifically being my fav salsa lol)
I love those Cantina Thin & Crispy, probably my fave tortilla chips, but they are so thin and crispy that they crack under the pressure of a hefty dip, so I honestly don't think they are good dip chips!
Loved this ep so much! This ranking thing is hard. 😅 1. Classic Ruffles 2. Salt & Vinegar (no specific brand) 3. Sabritones 4. Fritos Honey BBQ Twists 5. Old Vienna Red Hot Riplets 6. Funions 7. Flaming Hot Cheetos 8. Zapps Voodoo 9. Hawaiian Sweet Maui Onion 10. Miss Vickie’s Jalapeño
Canadian here: y’all are also missing out on all dressed south of the border. We have perfected the chip game up here. 😂 Also try Miss Vickie’s sour cream & caramelized onion chips. They’re sooo goooooood
I was one of the only kids who liked salt & vinegar chips growing up. No one else around me in my family would ever eat any either. So I always had them all to myself lol
Note: One of the less obvious factors of being a convicted felon in the U.S. is how it affects it any future crimes you commit. With no prior record, probation or community vs. prison time is a valid decision for the judge. But you will have a parole officer, and your “good behavior” is under intense scrutiny. If you ignore/violate the conditions of your parole officer, or commit *another* crime as a convicted felon, the probability of receiving a prison sentence for that next crime becomes almost an inevitability. 😂 Grace's seriousness in describing a folded chip being a treasure. Yes girl! I get it! lmao edit: special recognition to "he's a bit of a cheeto boy" as well lol
Grace there absolutely are cheese flavored takis and MANY other flavors in Mexico! Every corner store and plenty of street vendors in Mexico City sell all kinds of takis we don’t have in the US. I had a different flavor every day last time I was there. 10/10 recommend!!
1. Siete Salt and Vinegar with a hint of Serrano chips (I think they are the best S&V chip IMHO) 2. Sour cream and Onion (preferably Lays but not too picky with Brand) 3. Ruffles Queso Chips (Could tie with SOCh but I feel Queso has a bit more zip) 4. Cool Ranch Doritos 5. Garden Salsa Sunchips (Salsitas if in a pinch) 6. Flamin' Hot Cheetos 7. Hawaiian Brand Sweet Maui Onion Kettle Chips (I can only find these at a World Market Snack section but worth it!!!) 8. Zapps Voodoo/ Evil Eye Chips 9. Fritos Original or Honey BBQ (a classic but definitely a period/seasonal/specific food pairing/craving) 10. Original Ruffles (with the French Onion Soup Mix Dip)/Bugles
pickle chips are the best! i’m from oklahoma and i’ve been getting dill lays since 2012, so the US has had them a while. i can’t seem to find lays brand dill chips anymore. miss vickie’s are the best though! the spicy pickle chips are so good
I *do* love how Mamrie says, “this might be a short one!” and it’s still almost an hour. makes my whole day 🥰
“might be a short one”
talks about chips for an hour. I love you both sm.
“There’s not a chip out there that I wouldn’t put in my mouth…”. I’m crying. So funny. Great ep as always!! 👏 👏

“There’s not a chip out there that I wouldn’t put in my mouth… but not Mamrie’s boyfriend!” Omg I’m dying I can’t 🤣🤣🤣
Taking a moment to celebrate Mamrie’s Asbestos joke. I cawed like a crow
Mamries reaction to forgetting about Sun Chips is so funny to me 😂
NEW RANKING EPISODE WE WON
“I TOOK THEM OFF, I HAD THEM ON” okay mamrie lmao
I love that we spend 10 minutes discussing the caveats of said chips before the chips
The fact Mamrie said she ate a family sized bag in a week like that was insane, is making me feel like a garbage human! 🫣🤭
Oh if I open something family sized you bet I'm finishing the whole bag that day 🤣
Sister I downed a FULL sized bag of Lays baked bbq last night, no regrets hahaha!
Don’t worry, I always buy family size for just me and usually finish it all that day lmao
I yelled Cool Ranch Doritos right before Mamrie revealed them as her number one, and when SHE said Cool Ranch Doritos I threw my hands up in the air and went “YEEESSSSS”
I use chopsticks on the spicy Doritos so I can take my contacts out later that night with no repercussions
graces accent comes back when she’s home i love it
I love the Rhett and Link type dynamic that happens during these list episodes.
I watch tmgw too much that it feels weird to see mamrie and grace sit on the opposite side 😅
Ruffles and wavy lays are indeed cut from whole potatoes with wavy slicers! Baked ruffles are made Pringle style from potato flakes
As a Canadian listening to this podcast I've realized how many of my favourite chips are specifically Canadian.... Ruffles made an all dressed here in the US for awhile and they were AMAZING. Wish i could still get them
Oh Hawkins cheesies. The perfect salty crunchy treat. I buy them once a year when I go on vacation to the family cabin.

I was getting scared about no Takis being included. Glad to see the last minute save
I got a small bag of sunchips on a flight recently and the chips themselves were little mini versions of sunchips. they were so cute!!
Lays makes Pickle chips!! And they're amazing
I've waited so long for this episode!! Good lists!! As a Canadian we have ketchup and all dressed that rule!!
“Don’t get it twisted, unless you’re a frito.” LMFAOO
Justice for Wavy Lays!! They are infinitely better than ruffles. At the next cook out scoop up some baked beans with a wavy lay. You won’t be disappointed. Also hickory BBQ wavy lays are elite! Mamrie talking about sun chips last week and not mentioning them this week is hilarious!
These podcasts give me life y’all
Thank you! No one has ever understood my preference with folded chips being better! I feel vindicated 😂
Seriously? Folded chips are the best ones by far!
There's a powder lime seasoning that could probably turn the regular scoops into the lime chip they are describing. They sell it in various forms and packaging at grocery or liquor stores.
LOVE these ladies!! This episode is just so much fun! 😆
A ruffle dipped in ketchup is chefs kissssss
Mornin’ ya’ll! These ranking episodes are fun. My favorite chip is Lays classic flavor lightly salted (light blue bag). Stay sweet and take care ♎️☮️. P.S. I forgot about Munchos potato crisps, my 2nd fav

For the barbecue seasoning… look for popcorn seasonings! I know there are tons of flavors out there and I’m sure there’s a barbecue one.
Cheers ladies 🥂 My # 1 is Spicy sweet chili Doritos 😋
Same! Especially if there's white queso to dip them in!
@@aprilvinyard1900yum 😋
Caramel bugles are my road trip snack lol
Think extra crunchy caramel popcorn
I’m not a huge salt and vinegar fan but there is a salt and malt vinegar flavour and they just hit different 👌🏻
Tostitos Hint of Lime Scoops!! Yas!!
As a Canadian All Dressed Chips and Ketchup Chips are my top!
What’s up Wednesday morning crew!
Two things: they make doritos in pringles-like tubes now! and for Grace, try out takis' guacamole.
I’m with Mamrie on the sweet chili Doritos. Those are my favorite Doritos. Great flavor combo there.
Watching this in pain while currently attempting to crack down on eating healthier 😂😂😂😭
I love the count downs lol
Caramel Bugles are honestly incredible. You all should try them
Garden salsa sun chips are criminally underrepresented.
Perfect remedy for this sick little soul! If I can’t breathe through my nose, I can wheeze out of my mouth with hysterics!
I can't believe I haven't seen you two on after midnight.
I LOVE Ruffles Sour Cream and Onion Chips! #1!
You gotta try the Carmel Bugles!! So good!
pickle chips are the best! i’m from oklahoma and i’ve been getting dill lays since 2012, so the US has had them a while. i can’t seem to find lays brand dill chips anymore. miss vickie’s are the best though! the spicy pickle chips are so good
also ruffles are definitely just thin cut potatoes, they’re irregular and you can see bits of skin on the outside and sometimes brown pits in the chip
Miss Vickie’s spicy dill pickle chips are soooo good!
If you guys like takis you’ve gotta try the guacamole flavor 😫😫😫just discovered heaven
Yes, so happy Funyions made the cut!
Also there’s a “recipe” for Bugles filled with peanut butter and dipped in chocolate… TRY IT 🤤
I eat Funyuns, like I'm eating glass. So carefully, but they're so good.
Lays has a Dill Pickle chip that is available in US grocery stores.
NEW CHIP ALERT!!! 🚨 Takis has released a fully non spicy flavor, Buckin ranch! I feel like y’all manifested this 💜
