- Dimitri receives a mysterious phone call revealing some upsetting information about Ryan. Dimitri and Alex decide to leave Wildwind to investigate the information. The twins part with Anna feeling uneasy. This was the final episode for Alex and Dimitri.

sylvia fang It never said for sure. This was Alex and Dimitri's final scene. Dimitri came back in 2013 for the online version of AMC but not this actor, the original actor. Michael Nader was suppose to come back and this actor here was just a temp replacement. Well when plans for his return fell through due to the actors drug problem, and Finola Hughes having a difficult time playing twins, they used this as a means to write Dimitri and Alex off the show.
Duke Lavery was a character on General Hospital in the 1980s (and again from 2012-17) who was married to Anna Devane, and was a distant cousin of Ryan Lavery. He also was a mobster. I think it can be assumed that the man on the phone was implying to Dimitri that Duke (or someone associated with him) may have been involved in Gillian's death, and the news would, of course, be very upsetting to Ryan. Of course this was all just a ruse to usher Dimitri and Alex off the show, but it would have made an interesting plot twist.
Flash forward to 2021 - Cameron Mathison has been cast on GH yet they'll never use these overtly planted #GH-connected seeds..
@@tsefcik it's a waste to not build on the connection between Duke Lavery and Ryan Lavery on GH, especially with Anna having been on AMC before returning to GH.
Did AMC ever make the connection between Duke Lavery and Ryan Lavery with Anna being on AMC after being married to Duke?
