The US Coast Guard Auxiliary are available to give free vessel exams to anyone that wants one. If everything is up to standards you will get a sticker to display that’s good till the end of the year to let the authorities know you have been examined. No guarantees that they won’t check for themselves, but a good way to see if you overlooked any safety items.
The coast guard was great. I don't think we got a sticker though... boo. That would be great. We do need to remove all the previous stickers anyway. Thank you for watching.
Hey hey, miss k over here on Santa Rosa Beach (30 a ). What are you folks doing about your channel and how will you label content? Good to see y'all. Also never eva swim with jewelry as the sharks love the shiny bling. They think it is scales or fish eyes. No joke.
Thank you for following along. Our goal is to share our journey and inspire others to do the same. We also want to share love and hope while we travel the Caribbean
Nothing specific yet. We want to spend time with people and build relationships with every island we go to. We have plans for heading toward the Bahamas in the spring, and want to partner with organizations there.
@@WanderingKnapps I want to do that too in a few years so i would be interested in what organizations are out there and how you can plug in to help them.
@@billwilletts agreed. We also know there are churches all over the US that go to each island. We are considering partnering with each church as we hit each island. And also we are finding that the liveaboard community is a whole other group of people....
Ofc this pops up in my recommended lmao, STA Islamorada for the win
Thanks for watching

Ha. Exactly! Thank you for following along.

Chris, you(and the cats) look a little more relaxed now. Looks like the boys are great helpers.
Life is much more chill here in the Keys than owning a business in Texas. (not to say we didn't love that season of life to)
👍
*Unlike in a car you don't need to do anything wrong to be boarded by the USCG you just need to be floating. Subscribed...*
Agreed. We were actually glad to have such a great conversation so early on owning a boat. Gave us a lot of confidence
Good times!
why are you turning the wheel when docking???? you have two engines, use the gear levers sooooooooo much easier
Totally learned that now. We have learned so much!
@@WanderingKnapps I try to learn something everytime we go out, learning is one thing, remembering is another ..........

Are you doing any mission work or anything? What are your plans?
