Hi there, thanks for the comment/suggestion, I appreciate it. Can you say a bit more about what you’re thinking about here? In the UK you fill out a form and go for an interview and I imagine they’re usually just looking at your motivation etc for doing the course. Sounds like something a bit different where you are?

Thank you so much for these videos. They are so succinct and clear. I'm extremely cash-strapped and finding it hard to afford UKCP courses . Which qualification would you recommend to become accredited with UKCP in terms of cheapest and able to be most broadly applied? There seems to be no funding for UKCP masters. (One in Birmingham Newman uni but too far.) Any advice would be much appreciated. I'm moving from a teaching career. Currently applying for funded Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling.( Not CPCAB so will then do proficiency test for BACP. )
Love the 'follow your envy' idea

Hi there, thanks so much for what you say about the videos, it’s really good to hear.
Yes I think that one of the main obstacles to coming into the profession is financial and I hope that changes over time. Really wish I could tell you would the cheapest courses were, but in my experience the UKCP courses are similarly priced. Have you asked UKCP themselves about any information they have on course fees? It’s possible to get a cheaper/shorter qualification of course, but I do understand why you’d want to go for UKCP accreditation. Would love to have been more help here, but speaking to UKCP is all I can think of.
