#TIP: Great vid sir! Your tip about that once I change I'll NEVER be able to access this page again was crucial. I followed several tutorials in this same thing by various Indian TH-camrs who never mentioned this, so I thought I did something wrong. After watching your vid, I ensured I was connected to my new TP-Link "extender" and it is super fast!

Thank you! This is very useful. Do you happen to know whether anything attached to that router (my NAS for example) will be available on the network now?

Unfortunately, WDS Bridging doesn't seem to work on my Archer C7 TP-LINK_9D02 or
perhaps I am not understanding how it is suppose to work.
    I followed TP-Link's FAQ first.
    Then found your video today.
I left the SSID of the C7 to its default which you do in this video as well (0:58 in the video).
I then tried to connect to the C7's SSID and with the main router's password.
If the C7 is in bridge mode, should it be passing that password along to the main router?
Or am I not understanding this?

Followed all the steps. The bridge network shows, but I am unable to connect to the internet still?
Are there any known issues connecting from my Netgear nighthawk main router?

You can't access the admin panel, because DHCP is turned on in your OS. What Windows essentially does, is get a dynamic IP from a DHCP-server, mostly configured in your router. What happens is that, when there's no DHCP-server, Windows cannot retrieve and assign dynamic IP's. When you disabled DHCP in your router, you set your router to static mode. That means it creates a static IP in a subnet. The only way to access your admin panel, is to assign a static IP in Windows that is in the same subnet as your router. When you're within the same subnet, you will be able to to access the admin panel. Worked for me.

One question: So when you logon to wifi, how do you tetermine that you are logging on to this device vs. the original (bridged) router? It's all the same SSID, yes?

@@otisobl I never tested this, but the router you bridged to your main router is just another access point. It just routes the signal. Logically, it gets the IP from your DHCP-server and that one is your main router. If you want to identify if the router you've signed in to is the right one, you could check the MAC-addresses, since they're unique on both routers.
Edit: MAC-address is an unique identifier for your device.

@@otisobl Additionally, on second thought, SSID should be configurable for each router, so no... They could have two different SSID's.

I just tried it. I think it is required to replicate the settings of the bridged router, including the SSiD...
