Joel, I respect you for calling it like it is. You've been objective on this matter, even as a fan. Many times you've said that he's given coaches purpose and that he's done so much for these kids. Also seeing himself in Hunter and knowing that he had to let Hunter be Hunter. Not many other coaches would have allowed that. Not just letting him play both sides just to play both sides but knowing that he would be dominant on both. Never stop, Joel.

Travis will get what he wants. I’m sure Prime will guide him on his contracts and other things as he enters the NFL.
Prime is the reason Travis won the Heisman. Because of Prime, Travis got to play both sides and he got national exposure in name and in image every week. The more Prime talked about Travis, the more thirsty the media became. In addition, Prime has leveraged relationships from his playing days to be able to have these guys support everything Prime is doing. These men he has known for decades are working in the media in some aspect: television, podcasting, radio, etc. These relationships transcend football. They extend into basketball, baseball, music, and so on.
Prime is one of a kind. As much as people will try to duplicate him, it will not work. Imagine if Jenty had Prime and Travis had Jenty’s coach, the story would be opposite on the Heisman, the exposure, and promotions.
To win national awards national exposure and promotion is a MUST.

Honestly I’m still not sure on how I would rate Deon as a coach. First year the play calling he allowed prevented them from gaining the 6 win season like I predicted. This year the team looked significantly better. This next season is really going to show to me how good the coaching staff is. Mel Tucker and Mike Norvell built heavily through the portal and by their Second year had exceptional seasons. Unfortunately most of the players that made them great in that second season were graduated and were gone the next season. The buffs are now in a similar scenario. You’re losing your passing offense, your secondary defense, and half the Defensive line. This is in addition to having a struggling offensive line and rushing offense. For me 6 wins would be a solid season. More than that give Prime Coach of the year.

The reporter was taking personal shots at his family. That had nothing to do with football. Coach Prime gave the reporter a chance to ask a question after the OKSt game and the reporter refuse to ask a question. So if you are going to tell the story, tell the whole story!

@@justinball5068 He does not care people talking about him, but not his family. His family should be off limits. Any coach's family should be off limits. If you do not see that, that is on you just like that reporter. Coach Prime told the reporter that he was NOT going to help him to destory him (Coach Prime).

This is such a weird take. No other coach can “see the horizon”?? Commit a long term vision?? Feels like we’re confusing shamelessness for boldness and Travis is just enough of a freak that it worked out for him.

I hope you're wrong. As others have said, he'll want a conference and natty championship. Beyond that, I think he genuinely loves having the positive impact on these players lives. Something he wouldn't have in the NFL. I could certainly see him going to an SEC school though.

Sit back and watch, he just brought in the best rookie QB, and the #1 defensive lineman transfer from Alabama. Next years team might be less experienced, but they will be every bit as talented. Coach Prime is building the next powerhouse team for years to come. He's not going anywhere, there's not another college in the country that would give him complete control like C.U.

@@mountain0382 I truly think Deion found his home at CU. He has a great relationship with his AD ....That is worth a lot. Loves going to work.....Loves the young men....all of them. almost to a fault with some (Cormani).....Pro isnt going to give him the reward of helping these young men grow. Nah, and Bellicheck doesnt hold a candle to really caring about these young men. Afterall, football for 2024 is almost over.....starts all over again. So what is left????? Football experiences learning a lot about life, relationships, setting realistic goals.....growing as a person....Otherwise its just chasing a stupid shaped ball.
