Both of the ladies are good singers. But my introduction to them really showed me my favorite. You made a pretty good comparison. Those songs that you chose were the first songs I ever heard from each artist. For me personally, RUSH is a very interesting song. The first time I heard it, I was moved and i was hyped. Very motivational, music video was very nice, Ayra's delivery was great overall. With WATER, it's an ok song, good visuals, she sang it nicely, but in my personal opinion, because most mainstream music mostly leans sexual, I wasn't really feeling anything. Wasn't really wowed, so the sexual stuff was just meh. Not hating on tyla, but that's the vibe i got. It didn't really stand out to me. Taking a listen to their other songs, honeslty ayra has better songs in my opinion. Again, no hate to Tyla, she has nice songs also, but ayra has really good songs. All of this is just my opinion

Even though this video focuses on tyla and Ayra, I don’t understand how people are so quick to say that Tyla is the blueprint from her style, music, dancing when homegirl just got here but at the same time say she is our new Rihanna. In America we are very used to African music at this point.. hearing pidgeon & igbo in lyrics when Afro beats and singing with natural accent. Tyla sounds very Americanized period.. without the amapiano beat she sounds no different than any American artist unlike other African artist.
