Great info, I started small at 25 a month and have done that every week for seven months, which is a lifetime for me because I never have been able to save more the 50 a month and then to transfer it out. So I think I have made a huge improvement.
Great advice. I work in healthcare and with the elderly. A golden rule when prescribing for the elderly is to “start low and go slow” to assess their response to medications. I’ve realized that this is true for most things in life. Start low and go slow…& stay consistent!
I save my money In a certificate of deposit. So it can make money every month off of Intrest. It’s also a hassle to take out which is a good thing and you get hit with fees. If I have an emergency I just use a high limit credit card and pay it off with my upcoming pay checks and use that money that I would save to pay it off. I hate having to pull money from my savings it’s like the worse feeling ever. Lol I can’t explain it
I needed this video because I'm getting back into the habit of saving a little bit of all the money I get after being in an emotionally bad place where I spent my savings. Merry Christmas
Every time I put money into my savings I have to pull it out.😞 just got an oil change, stuff for kids, I need a job just to afford saving! I’m going to start with $20 per paycheck 😩
The trick is being consistent! I saved a ton last year but I spent it for moving. It feels so disappointing to start from zero. And starting slow and steady feels so unfulfilling but I know it will build back eventually. I hate the need for instant gratification. But I will get back there, thanks for your video it helps!
My niece had an emergency fund that she had saved, it wasn’t easy. When she was out of work for six months due to illness, she was disappointed to have to spend it. Her mother and I looked at her and reminded her, that’s what it was for to use in an emergency. Now you have to rebuild, but you are not starting out in debt and feeling stressed and overwhelmed. Congratulations 🎉🍾🎈! Well done. I say this because, the same applies to you. Yes, you spent the money. But you are not in debt for the move. You are starting out fresh 🌹, not stale and stinky with debt. So to you I say Congratulations, well done! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
It never goes back in. I am also a former transfer queen 😂😂. However, the amount of money I have saved since I told myself I ain't going to he broke in 2024. Listen the no ATM card is what I did.
Omg I feel like you were preaching directly to me! I love crab-legs and this has been my mentality for a while. Now my mindset has shifted and I have started cash stuffing and a savings challenge this year. Thanks for sharing❤
I love the tittle of this video! It sounded like a line from a family member who really cares about you 😂❤ I love the make a visual tip! So simple but something I haven’t heard before.
i need help with saving , im currently unemployed and the little money i have im spending it on me. ughhh i need to stop... any tips ?? like impulsive shopping? thats a great tip you gave to not use debit cards in a new bank i like that idea i will try that i also feel like those money savings challenge books help alot but its best to not have the card around.. visuals help alot too
Great tips but I do have a debit card for my savings account because I could be out and about and catch a flat tire. I can’t wait 5 business days for that $$ to transfer
I started with $50 I’m gonna put another $50 in my savings next week I get paid around 300-500 a week it’s always in between but Yk once I get my savings to one of those amounts then I’ll have the savings money up to the amount of my check so there for I can start putting my check in my savings and taking my savings out because my checks are most likely gonna be more than what I’ve been saving by time it gets up to $300-$500 let me know if you don’t understand I’ve saved up to 15 hundred before bought an IPhone tho so I crashed out but Yk I have a gf so saving money is rough
Great video I started saving $5 every week from my old job than I was able to work towards saving $10 a week than 20 a week until I got my new job I’m still with now for 10years I’m saving every paycheck every Bi weekly i got it set up where i transfer my whole paychecks to my savings account and it works very well for me

CONGRATS!
Being disciplined with our money is so important. The sacrifices we make will pay off in our future don’t give up. Great video
I heard someone say “that future me is just as important as today me.” I guess if you can’t agree with that you have some work to do on yourself.

Great video. That is me always justifying why I'm spending the money instead of saving it and letting it build up. Try to have a new mindset for 2024.

LISTEN! No matter how many times you say you're going to put it back it's not going back in LOL!
Words of wisdom here. She’s speaking facts. I’m on this journey and she’s so right
Great advice! I have my savings account at a separate credit union without a card attached to it.

Great, down to earth information. This motivates me. Baby steps..... START somewhere. Thank you!
Sometimes, I get to excited with savings that I move too much and overdraft my checking. In 2024, I will learn to keep savings in savings
👏🏽 and I’ve done this also. 2024 will be a good year
I also do same my dear but in 2024 I won't repeat that
I love the tittle of this video! It sounded like a line from a family member who really cares about you 😂❤ I love the make a visual tip! So simple but something I haven’t heard before.
