Some people fail to realize that the appearance is the first thing people notice. I’m definitely one that watches my dessert being delivered and I’m looking at the appearance as it makes its way through the dining room. If it looks great , Then it most likely will taste even better . Excellent Video !

I dream of taking one of your classes one day, even if it seems absolutely impossible. But, who knows?

It's easy to be creative. Pastry is no different from painting, it's just also with form and flavor. You just need a canvas, colors, imagination and have fun with it. The hardest part that I need is the color. Which is texture, color, flavor etc. Getting it sponge, fluffy, hard. Caramel and chocolate sauce are colors for a pastry chef. And unlike normal painting. You can paint in many different ways with melted chocolate. You can harden it, soften it in a dough to create a cake base/canvas for the rest of the pastry, you can pour it and do actual painting, 3D painting by pouring it on baking paper and letting it harden and top it on top or you can come up with some weird way to use it; like spreading it so thin it gives a whole different look. Like it absorbed coffee. It all depends on how you prepare it and I love the variety and combinations you can make to make it into a show as much as a fun hobby and spectacle.
my girlfriend showed me this video and I was shocked when she said she was in the video... I was focussed on the Lecturer and what she was saying all the time XD She surely has a lot to teach!
