    Hi,
We are in the process of buying a house. The funds are coming from parental gifts and personal saving that are in a cash LISA. The total adds up to 5%. We have a mortgage accepted. We have been told by our solicitors that: we cannot use the funds in the LISA towards the deposit as we have enough in our current account. The value in our current account shows the value above the 5% that we are paying, however this is also to go to legal fees and the first mortgage payment. Without the LISA we cannot go ahead.
I believe that the solicitors are giving us false information.
Could you possibly help/make a video on how using your LISA for the purchase of a house works? And if there are any limitations to it.
    Thank you,
    Found your video very helpful!
