Wow, there are really famous singers who don't have your voice, your looks or your talent for performing. Sitting around in a room with a dollar store cloth on your shoulders, you have put forward a more entertaining video than some front line singers with million dollar budgets. You are the real deal.
Jackie Anderson not only has a beautiful face, but a wonderful voice that captivates. What makes it even more special is the fact that you know she is putting in all the facial expressions and emotions that make hearing her songs so fantastic. Some lucky guy (or girl) actually knows this wonderful singer.
Still want it bad. I wish Jackie had a discord or something. She's delightful. If you're reading this Jackie, we love you/think you are the majestic majestic things get. Would love to pick your brain on music lol
Such a beautiful combination of talent and charm. She has a way of making you feel as though she's singing just for you. And I loved that little laugh you gave right at the end. Thank you Jackie Anderson for sharing your talent with us.
As an old time Rocky Horror Fan, I absolutely adore this. I can not think of a more enjoyable rendition of this song. Someday, I would love to hear you jump to the other end of the movie and give us your take on "I'm going home', if you would. I ran across you singing "Blue Lips' which was delightful, but this one... well done, and please do not stop sharing that voice with us.
At first I though this would be just an other cover but then it kept going and it got better and better. Then I fell in love. When she bit her lip, I died. Too good!
So I came upon this cover as mere coincidence and WOW!! I was seriously hypnotized by your voice and eyes the whole time. By far the best cover I've heard!!
Good grief. I've watched this about twenty times and I still get chills at how great this is. Your voice and personality combined with your stunning good looks make this a taste of perfection.
I've seen this many times, as I've worked in theatre for 25 years, and this was a really enjoyable version, and it was fun to see you enjoying yourself so confidently while doing it. So, well done.
By far the best rendition I’ve heard, I literally got goosebumps. You might have gotten this countless times but your looks and singing is stunning, please don’t stop making videos!
I've only just found this video, and absolutely love it. This has to be the very best cover of this song I have ever heard. The hair on the back of my neck actually stands on end when listening to this song, and I think I've fallen just a little in love with you for it.
Great cover of one of my favourite songs. I am a RHPS fan from day 1. The Roxy Theatre in Toronto, 6th row (any other 6th row regulars here?). Gawd...those were simpler, better times. I don't like too many covers, but you do it justice.
Please do Life on Mars by David Bowie! This is Gospel by Panic! At the Disco would be nice but not as much as LOM. Just found out about you, great work.
Jackie Anderson, wonder woman at the top of my playlist: I've been re-watching this video since about a month after you first posted it and regaled us with your spectacular singing. Every time I try to get out, go back to my punk rock roots, you drag me back in ... with your flashing eyes ... your mellifluous crooning ... your instinct, passion and inspiration ... and those certain paralinguistic gestures, such as kinesics, facial management techniques, and affect displays, which can be taught in acting class, but are best demonstrated when the artist possesses an innate understanding of the comedic and the nostalgic - all of them, like, mushed up together. Totally bitchin', seriously, whatever. There. From the meme to the cliché to the sublime to the academic to the ridiculous in one sentence. Nailed it! Now I need to go cry over my wine and cigarettes because I've never heard a more beautiful (unEarthly?) rendition of a song which, you gotta admit, has all those qualities.
Celeste Brodie You may already know this but Richard O'Brian (Riff Raff) actually sang the recorded version of this as you know it using Patricia Quinn's lips. Patricia originally sang it in the stage version. I believe Richard wrote the entire play including all the song lyrics. Patricia said no to the movie when she was told she couldn't sing Science Fiction and changed her mind when they showed her the set. With the technology of the time they had to lock her head in to a vice to shoot the lip scene. Anyways, please forgive the nerdy trivia.
I nerdily quoted some lyrics of this song on another site. Had googled first to make sure I got 'em right. That lead me here. Gee, serendipity is great! Thank you Jackie Anderson - for sharing your great voice, and crushing this swell song. Happy to see you covered 'Dream A Little Dream Of Me' and nailed it too. I'm a long time fan of yours (since discovering you yesterday).
Damn, that made me shiver. Not only was that fantastic vocally, but your facial expressions matched perfectly and you got really into it. I haven't reacted like that to a solo in over a year. If you aren't on stage, you should be
Love you, miss you, hope to see you upload a new song in the future! You left a song in my heart since I first heard you sing 17 years ago. You're my muse Jackie, never change!
This is the best cover of this song I've ever seen that wasn't from a Broadway revival or something similar (i.e., a major theatrical production). In other words, it's very, very good
I'm speechless.. You're an adorable, really captivating when you sing.. I've got shivers down my spine during the entire music.. and I couldn't take my eyes off of you .. i see why the other guy ran into a lamppost now.. :)
well a hidden gem I bumped into I'm from the UK and go to see the rocky horror live every year but I wish they would take you on to play the cinema steward as this cover has picked me up cheers best cover since the movie keep it up
Jackie, has just killed it. I’m impressed. I wasn’t expecting this. Also you should do power ballads it sounds like you have unbridled power you are are holding back.
Hi, Jackie, The soundtrack to Rocky Horror is excellent, and your voice takes the music to the next level. Keep on singing, as we would all be interested in more pop and showtune performances. Keep up the great work!!!
Still revisiting this amazing cover in 2024. It never gets old.
Same! Can't agree more. She's great!
This is so epic!
Was looking for the original when I stumbled on this. What a great cover!
Every coupe of years I come back around October to listen to this again.

I walked into a lamppost whilst watching this... You're so captivating when you sing - amazing cover. Thank you for keeping this music alive!

Lampposts are basically urban Ninjas.

She is mesmerizing to watch.
Can you do "Over at the Frankenstein Place: and "Don't Dream It, Be it". Your voice would make those two song great. Pretty please?
I vouch for the former's necessity, it's a good request.
Still want it bad. I wish Jackie had a discord or something. She's delightful. If you're reading this Jackie, we love you/think you are the majestic majestic things get. Would love to pick your brain on music lol

Forget how good she sings this. Can we all just admire how beautiful her face is? Damn.
Beautiful eyes and a stunning voice
Jaw-dropping rendition! Superbly done. And a natural beauty.
This performance really deserves an Oscar, because no actor could do as well as you did here. The Best, anywhere.
Damn! You nailed that, and you are f***ing gorgeous. You clearly enjoyed that, which is what made it so amazing.

Old time fan here too, I was 16 when I first saw it at a midnight screening in 1978. She is beautiful and her voice is captivating.
@@sgtmayhem7567 Happened to be 16 myself when I happened upon this vid which spurred my watch of RHPS.
Just told my wife---Those are eyes that could be used for Evil! Completely mesmerizing. Loved this, you totally nailed it.
