i'm so confused why people call this guy an evil cultist who created his own religion. nothing i've heard him say looks like a cult, it looks like he had following of people sick of being brainwashed and oppressed by ancient texts. is there something i'm missing?
Im not sure about evil cultist but I heard in previous documentaries they questioned whether he was a con-artist. Personally I dont think so and also I dont know what to make of the expensive watches and rolls roices he accumulated. So I just ignore that and just listen/read his teachings.
I think his followers took it a bit too far. In my opinion he should have just continued giving lectures like Krishnamurti instead of creating a commune which many people wrongly considered a cult. Definitely was not a cult.
Because they are afraid to seek the truth.

True sense is that in internal world only moon alone and kill Buddha as thought, which is interfering in to see ultimate truth. But this doesn't mean that don't show gratitude to Buddha for his valuable direction to reach ultimate truth, gratitude naturally arises on Guru.
