Ur style is what u like. That makes ur house original and reflects ur personality. If u need a style u can call it eclectic! Lol it’s easy to follow a trend but much more interesting to collect what u love. U have to live with it so it should be what u luv. Anyhow thnx for sharing. God bless u and ur family.
The green jumper (sweater) looks great on you but then you'd look gorgeous in a paper bag. Thanks for showing us your items. Yes to a marketplace video ! Hi from Australia xx
Hi Kristen! The watering can, vintage or not, is adorable especially because it has a lid. And that green sweater.. love it! Your style is yours with lovely vintage things that you love hunting for. You put these things together so well which makes your home so cozy and unique. I love it ..as we have the same likes! Enjoy decorating and shopping for this things! It's so fun!!
YAY! It's always SO good to see you and all the SUPER thrifty GEMS you find! Love your desk too and decor. Seriously can't wait until we can enjoy a mini home tour? Please.
You always have fun, lighthearted videos Kristen! I think you have a good eye for vintage decor for your home that is your own style. Don't even know if every house needs to have a named style but maybe. Lol. I'm from Texas, glad you got in a good yard sale! Blessings!
I loved seeing all your finds in this video! I agree about the shoes, easier to have many pairs that cost less since kids like to play in the mud etc. it nice to give the the freedom to play rough and not worry about getting their shoes dirty o worn out. Adorable and kind kiddos are what you are raising.
I do tons of thrift/goodwill shoes for my kids and myself! We live in the country and the boys like to go out and jump in the creek, run through the woods and drag their toes while they ride bikes. They can dirty up multiple pairs of shoes a day. We have a basket on the porch and one in the garage. If the shoes are nasty they toss them in and we wash all of them once a week. So we never run into no clean shoes before school or an outing. My daughter and I wear the same size and I have founds lots of pairs of name brand shoes. I got a pair of practically brand new Brooks Ghost for $10! She wore an entire thrifted outfit for her orchestra concert and 8th grade graduation this past year.
Hi Girls, Love seeing you guy's out shopping together. Love Rosies green jacket it is a timeless style and maybe passed down to her sisters too! Your Dockers sweater is beautiful on you Kristen! Ivy cracked me up when she tried to snag her sister's candy. Have a great week everyone.
I love the water pitcher, perfect for fall. You can also put fall stems or dried flowers and use it as a center piece. You could also use a printable to jazz it up but honestly I love the way it is. I'm from a family of 6 & thrifting was something my mom always did, and yes even shoes. Their maybe some that think thrift shoes are old and used, not the case. I've found some with original tags on them never used and some barely used. You always have a good eye, thank you for your videos. 😊
I did the multiple shoe thing with my 2 kids except they were all tennis shoes. I'd also stock up on assorted clothes too so I'd have sweaters and pants on hand whenever they'd go up a size. I miss those days.
Jelly the Pug is an expensive Children’s clothing line. That was a great score!! It did not go with the plaid dress originally but it would be cute together!
I love the rusty crusty container. When you showed it while still in the store, I thought I hope you get that. So glad you did. Love the clock. The girls clothes and the plaid pants and sweater were definitely a "have to have."
Kristen, I absolutely love your style! You are such a ray of sunshine! Your vintage pieces are beautiful. You are such a beautiful woman and your outfit really suits you well. Love your channel!
As a child I only had sneakers for school, church shoes, and sometimes sandals. It was fine. I don’t buy used shoes. My mother got athlete’s foot from buying and wearing used shoes. It was very uncomfortable and took her quite a while to get over it.
Loved all your great finds especially the alarm clock and that cute sweater ❤. I have a ton of Pampered Chef items because I was a consultant years ago. Unfortunately they are very pricey and not all great. Their stoneware I do love, but have had to throw out some other items because they didn’t last. I have a deep covered baker which makes delicious meals in less time, especially meat dishes.
I used to have one of those stone pizza dish and it was my favorite! Made the best pizzas! Unfortunately it broke and I haven’t be able to find another
I can't believe you passed the Pampered Chef stoneware. I highly suggest, when finding PC stoneware get it. The trick is never washing it..no soap, no water....just scrape. Not all pieces are a must; cookie sheets, round pizza stone; bread pan...they last forever.
The shoe question…I think you do it the smart way. I’ve always bought my kids new nice shoes and I find it so stressful. They lose them, wreck them, grow out of them, break them, need pairs to stay at school and daycare, etc. I’ve started doing it the way you do and it is so much less stressful.
Great finds 💞. Love the sweater. Would love to see your market place finds. Have I missed the home tour? Everything I’ve seen behind you so far looks great 💞
I love your watering canister. And I agree with you on kids shoes. Do what you're doing. It's great! And I love that plate with herbs. So pretty! I just recently did a watercolor piece that looks a lot like it. 🌿
Hi Kristen! The George brand pajama's are from walmarts my hubby gets them. I loe the watering can you got its perfect as long as it dosen't leak lol. I also loved the chunky cable sweater. You always find so many cute things. Anything look good on you! Enjoyed the video.
Your house is coming along with all your finds! ☺️ I love the sweater and that shade of green on you. I love muted tones and I think that looks beautiful. Thanks for sharing…💗
Yes the watering can looks good. I would scoop that up! I can see a bunch of black eyed susans in that or a rudebeckia or cut sunflowers in it. Or use it as just a watering can. Very versatile. It's a great opportunity for your oldest to go to school. In Canada, homeschooling is very RARE to hear of, in the US it seems like it's more common.
You can rub dry bar soap around edges of desk , that should gently lube the wood. You can cook so many things in pampered chef, juices from meats, butters, oils, season dishes. Remember not to wash with soap, it removes seasonings, baking soda with water cleans with out removing it.
Love the watering can! and That Sweater Adore the color on you! this video is getting me excited My daughter and I have a huge thrifting date this coming Saturday! We have to drive 45 minutes away but so worth it! Husband was going to go with us until I told him we spend at least 3 hours at the biggest store! LOL
When I saw the hurricane lamp in the cart, I thought OMG... I just bought 2 of those here in Omaha. But mine has a different bottom. The flowers on it are the same. Did you find that in Dallas? Surprised you didn't get it. That would look wonderful in your home. Those lamps are coming back in style. What's old is new again. Thanks for sharing.
Hi, Kristen. Great video....love the chunky sweater!!! The girls are growing so much!!! Loved hearing about the camp you hold for foster children. Have you ever heard of Camp Barnabas in Missouri? It is a camp for special needs children and adults. Two of my Grandchildren have volunteered in the Summer there. It has been really hot in Oklahoma this Summer too. Keep letting your light shine. Greetings from Oklahoma. Jane Greene
Great finds! I LOVE LOVE your thrifting hauls (& your new home also) Also Jelly the Pug is a boutique brand for children. I had bought my daughter several thrifted pieces years ago from that line.
You decorate with items you really like. Don’t worry about what category of decor it would be classified in. Maybe eclectic with a farmhouse vibe is your style.
Farmhouse or Victorian? My thought has always been...buy what you like. I don’t follow trends. Mix designs if it makes you smile. We did our new home MCM for the clean lines. But you go upstairs & my guest room is over-the-top flowers & soft color. I have a crazy obsession for vintage quilts & wanted to use them. Our guests say it’s like being in an English Cottage B&B. Just my two cents 🙂
If you want pockets in Old Navy flannel pj pants, you have to buy the ones from the men's dept! Or, watch for 60-80% sales at Land's End. Theirs are amazing, don't "crinkle," and will last for years. Love you and your channel! Found you thru Hilary at OWH! :)
DO BOTH GIRL... My house is a mixture of both like you, I love old rustic farmhouse items but also I have vintage items, victorian inspired decor so if you love it use it! is your house and you do you and decorate with what you love,

I love when u take us thrifting!!!and show us your fun finds!

I wish this place wasn't a total mess right now! It's hard to get every room camera ready at the same time!
I love the watering can, shelf, and the alarm clock!
To me, I decorate with things that give me joy. Walking pass something that just makes me smile. I love the watering Pitcher.
You always have fun, lighthearted videos Kristen! I think you have a good eye for vintage decor for your home that is your own style. Don't even know if every house needs to have a named style but maybe. Lol. I'm from Texas, glad you got in a good yard sale! Blessings!
It is such a treat!
I loved everything you got! The little dish that goes with your other one are so lovely together!✨
That sweater and the kids green coat are adorable! Great finds💕
The plates you purchased would be beautiful together hanging on a plate rack on one of your walls. Thanks for sharing.
Great idea!!

I like the mix of decor in your home. It looks great together….styled beautifully 🌟
Thanks so much! 😊

Jelly the Pug is a pretty pricey boutique brand. That's a good find.
Love everything you got. Love the watering can will be perfect for that and so cute!
I think so too!
I love to hang plates on the wall! Great Wall decor, visual interest.
I like it too!
Your enthusiasm is contagious, love watching you.
Thank you!
You are adorable and so fun to watch. You found such great buys! That chunky sweater is gorgeous…and I love that color. It’s very becoming on you.
Thank you so much!
Your backdrop is so beautiful. I cannot wait for a house tour. Love the picture over the desk.
Me too!
Your new sweater is gorgeous - fantastic find!!
I did the multiple shoe thing with my 2 kids except they were all tennis shoes. I'd also stock up on assorted clothes too so I'd have sweaters and pants on hand whenever they'd go up a size. I miss those days.

Oh I love the pitcher you are using to water your plants. Glad you picked it up. Wish I could wear big chunky sweaters, that one is very nice on you.
Wear the sweater, Jade!
Great finds........LOVE that chunky sweater!!!
Thank you!!
Yes! I love men’s pajama pants! So comfy!
The pampered chef one with ridges is for bacon we have two of them and use them often in the microwave I'm sure you could use it in the oven too.
Good to know!
Love the water pitcher
Love your home style/decor!
Thank you!
You always find such great stuff!!!! Absolutely loving the little sneak peeks of your home. Can not wait for the tour!!!!!!!🤗🤗🤗
Me too!!
The mint sweater at the end is fantastic! That’s such a pretty color on you too! Mind sharing where the dollar thrift store was?
It was somewhere in East Dallas near White Rock Lake.
Your kids are naturals when it cones to thrifting videos!! Love all of your finds. Thrifted kids shoes are the best! Sweater was a big score!
They are sweeties!
Whatever you call your style, I call it lovely! You have great thrifting skills! 😍
Thank you so much
I love the rusty crusty container. When you showed it while still in the store, I thought I hope you get that. So glad you did. Love the clock. The girls clothes and the plaid pants and sweater were definitely a "have to have."
They were precious!
That shelf will be so cute on your side porch. That Herb plate would go perfectly on it. I’m sure you have pieces to compliment that self too.
Great idea!!
Kristen, I absolutely love your style! You are such a ray of sunshine! Your vintage pieces are beautiful. You are such a beautiful woman and your outfit really suits you well. Love your channel!
Thank you so much, Sandra!
Kristen, I love the desk that is behind you. It is beautiful. It looks great with the picture above it. You always find some great things.
Oh thank you!
The watering can looks decorative though you could probably still use it to water plants.
As a child I only had sneakers for school, church shoes, and sometimes sandals. It was fine. I don’t buy used shoes. My mother got athlete’s foot from buying and wearing used shoes. It was very uncomfortable and took her quite a while to get over it.

I just have never used one! I don't even know what I would make in it.
I have had the hardest time finding watering cans. You lucked out-I had to settle for plastic.
I like the can and you can water your plants or you can make a beautiful arrangement for outside the house
The shoe question…I think you do it the smart way. I’ve always bought my kids new nice shoes and I find it so stressful. They lose them, wreck them, grow out of them, break them, need pairs to stay at school and daycare, etc. I’ve started doing it the way you do and it is so much less stressful.

That sweater is perfect!!! And the girls dressed adorable. I like the "watering can" the plate and the small picture. Fun haul.
I'm glad you like it!
Great finds 💞. Love the sweater. Would love to see your market place finds. Have I missed the home tour? Everything I’ve seen behind you so far looks great 💞
If I could get my home to the place where I felt comfortable doing a tour, I would do it right away! I have some plans in the works...

Love the sweater. I smile and laugh at your crazy antics 😂
Thank you, Debby!
An electric plug-in fireplace would be great in your chilled room. we had similar situation and loved the results!
That little green jacket is so cute! I was hoping you would buy it for the girls.

It's becoming a lot more common! It's still on the table for us, but this is the route that we have chosen this year.
@@KristenHoffman do you think it's more common there because of all the school violence?
It is a modern to look vintage. It is way cool and fun

That was actually here in Omaha. I didn't get it because we already have 3 hurricane lamps, and I don't have a place for it right now!
@@KristenHoffman Do you remember what store that lamp was in?
I love that water can Kristen! Perfect for fall decour! Put some dried flowers in it!
Could the house be considered "French Country"? The real kind🤔
Good idea!
