I would put that antique cup in the hutch to preserve it, it's probably valuable. I wouldn't want someone to drop it in the bathroom and break it.

Hi Kristen and girls, the stone pampered chef piece is called “bar pan” pampered chef had a pumpkin bar recipe that came with the pan. But you can cook anything on it. You can try baking soda and warm water to try and get the markings off.

    Hi
What an amazing find with the cute cup. Personally, as others have said, I would display it and not use it. If it’s lasted for 180yrs without being broken, then it’d been tragic to have it destroyed now.
Your whisk is a danish dough hook and is a great tool for whisking

Just a thought - you could use the Ironstone cup for small cut flowers? Maybe ones the girls pick even. I have lots of sizes of vase from large to little bud vases and small glasses that I pop blooms in in spring to create variated height displays. A possible way of using it where it's more visible to look at - and away from falling in the sink and cracking (or is that just what happens in my house with bathroom cups! :)

Your girls are so sweet. I'm glad you include them once in awhile. Pampered chef is good quality. The stoneware pan is a bar pan. I bought one at a party and thrifted a second because I love them. I make bars, homemade pizza and bacon in mine. I also have two of the large heavy metal bar pans. They are great for bars and cookies. Your flow blue cup is so unique.

The Pampered Chef stone is a bar pan. I have one that I really enjoy roasting my veggies on in the oven. I spritz the pan directly with some cooking spray, prepare my veggies & roast them. You can also line the pan with some parchment paper to make clean up even easier. Spritz a little bit of cooking spray directly on the bar pan, tear off the parchment paper to fit the pan. The cooking spray will help the parchment paper lay flat. I spritz the top of the parchment paper with a little more cooking spray & then add my prepared veggies. The beauty of the Pampered Chef stones is that they get that "cooked on patina" that makes the pan even more "teflon like". Your food just doesn't stick the more you use use your stone. Kinda of like cast iron....the more you use it the better.

Oh my goodness lady! Just my humble opinion, but I wouldn't put that 180 year old cup on the bathroom sink. I sell antiques and I've only ever seen two plates in that pattern and I own a small plate that is very similar but was made in 1851 so it isn't identical. All that to say, it's rare and VERY old and irreplaceable. I'd put it behind glass, just for the sake of preserving history.

The stainless half sheet pan is the best thing! I use mine for everything, even thanksgiving turkey. The stoneware bar pan is great for reheating things in your oven that you want to crisp up…our microwave broke 5 years ago and we never bought another one but we use the stoneware to reheat things instead. It will last you a lifetime, just don’t soak the stone in soapy water for a long time as it is a porous material that will absorb. A light scrub with soap is fine. You have an awesome goodwill!

Kristen just a heads up. I understand that if there is crazing on anything that might be painted, it can leach lead. Older pieces usually have crazing. I am not 100% sure if lead would be in a very old pieces like that. You can probably research it to get the right answers. I just want to mention it so that you know. I collect old transferware, and had no idea until I saw someone else bring it up on another channel I watch. She bought a lead testing kit, and tested some very old dishes for lead. Some did test positive. I just display mine.

Wonderful items, love your girls. Just a little warning … you may want to test your antique flow “black” cup for lead before you drink out of it. Amazon sells test kits for this purpose. Ironstone prior to 1970 often had lead in the glaze to some degree, which over time can be dangerous, especially for kids.

  • @melissar6365

That’s a Danish dough whisk. Not vintage. They were big the last couple of years and run about $15-20.
LOVE the black ironstone cup but PLEASE don’t use it as a bathroom drinking cup. Something 180 yrs old deserves to be cherished and protected, plus it could contain lead paint. Not safe.

The black flow cup is flow blue in the Mulberry color way and is more rare than flow blue!!! It's a tea cup, early tea cups didn't have handles. It's value could be over $25 to $35!!! Maybe even
more!! Depending on the condition and buyer. The other item wisk type is an European dough hook/stirrer...they are awesome and that one looks about maybe 5 years old. They sell exactly that type on Amazon less than $10.
