  • In this video, I show you a way to dial back (or dial up) all of your edits on a photo in Lightroom Classic with a single slider. It’s a simple trick to give you an overall “adjustments amount” slider in Lightroom. Note that this trick requires Lightroom 11.4 or later.

A Few Notes: You Need Lightrtoom 11.4 or later for this to work. Also, you can probably skip the reset step, but I’ve left it in as it prevents confusion - In my opinion. But - I think you can just apply the preset without actually resetting because youve saved everything. I do think it's best to reset though in case something weirtd happens.

Good tip. You could of course just use Capture One where this feature is built in. I have only been using Lightroom for a month or so to help people at my photo club and have been frustrated by its limitations vs Capture One. Too many of Lightroom's tools are global.

Hi Thomas, new. to your channel and enjoying your output. Not related to this vid really but I have Lightroom and have thousands of images with keywords but have recently tried capture one and like the layers system and colour adjustments. Would it make sense to keep L/R for its great catalog system and just import images to C/O? Mostly wildlife images for printing. Would be grateful for your thoughts.
