My grandpa made a rule back in the 70s that if you dont take a horse you take a dog and if you take a horse you take a dog so in other words our dogs go everywhere with us
Seriously? That’s a seriously messed up perspective. Children aren’t bred to mind you. It is not their job to be obedient to there parents or society. Children are sovereign human beings- like you! We aren’t supposed to be trainable like dogs!

I love these dogs and the training you put into them! My Healer is a go getter but he wants to be a protector of me instead of a field dog. I guess all dogs have their place.... great video man!
Poor Bear looked so tired. How old is Bear now? And is Hank one of your younger dogs from a litter within the last year or so? Your dogs got a workout and took some abuse that day, but they got the job done. I was impressed when they rounded up the cattle that had bolted back to the pasture and were already bringing them back on their own by the time you started heading in that direction. ☆Applause! Applause!☆ Do you see any difference in how your dogs perform or the level of enthusiasm that they have for their job based on gender?
up here in northern alberta we loose alot of calves to coyotes and wolves. our cattle definitley react different to dogs here. i envy your dogs, good on you
These dogs are amazing. Hats off to their handler. This collies are the best of the best. I adore all these dogs. Love it when he says get hold of her. The control and discipline is amazing. I would if this man has any merchandise of the dogs or anything? I'd definitely be interested in buying from this guy. One I'm a dog lover and two anything with farming ranching or homesteading has my full support. Brute is my favorites and so is bear. Love these dogs and this gentleman. Has there been a new video up? Is this the newest one.
How often in a cow's life do they get loaded into a trailer? I have watched a few of your videos today, and it seems like the biggest hurdle is the literal hurdle of the big step into the trailer. NOTE: I am a city boy, and know nothing about ranching. Just trying to learn a thing here. Would a ramp of some kind make the process easier, or is that way more work then it's worth? Thanks in advance o/
