even VE is not E10 , E15 and off course not at all e85 resistant! there does not exist any resin for comercial privat use anywhere that is alcohol resistant at the long run, it only works for real gasoline…..unless you shield the inner surface….so how do you do that? rinsing with some sealer? is there a sealer that sticks to epoxY surfaces and does nit deteriorate, flake off ir whatever? VE seems to hold up against e10, if you are lucky….but how many airplane and boat owners had VE tanks installed amd the whole fuel system was full of flakes, the anti swash sponges deteriorated , the brass fittings corroded bcs alcohol is no insulator but highly conductive……but it should work for Diesel fuel…unless it is alcohol esther eko fuel…who know what shit is in that brew…..and for all the claims on alcohol destroying resin laminated tanks,,,,does anbody realize that they even have acetone and similar high volatile junk in gasoline nowadays?
Vinal ester resin for tanks
So you used straight poly resin? Not Isophthalic or VE?
How did you put the sight glass in? Is that a cut out with some sort of clear plastic glassed in.
