V8 gasoline engines eh? That engine likely has a couple of stuck valves, easy to unstick and run fine, but "technically" should have the heads pulled and a valve job done.
Hi folks, If you buy a boat in this size range for $5k you need to expect a long list of maintenance issues with the running gear and that's before any upgrades you have in mind. But if you are patient and over time you will get on top of the maintenance issues and enjoy the benefits of a live aboard house boat
