Great tips bro, especially the first 2 - I've been in the studio with rappers who have literally asked for layers to start being removed because they can't hear themselves on it or a lead instrument is messing up the melody in their head. One way you can avoid this is by putting acapella's in while cooking up so you can have the right space in the beat 👍

since I'm an artist as well, when I arrive at a certain point in the beat I start flowing on it to check, as you say bro. If I feel lost or too many thing happening I try to make the arrengement different and spread out the things, if this doesn't work I'll remove some stuff. It's harder for producers to tell when it's too busy or not, sometimes we may feel like it's boring, but an artist adds another "instrument" with his voice and flow so we have to keep in mind that; great video as always man🫶🏻
