  • This race was well worth the hype. On a cool cloudy Saturday afternoon, the world's fastest high school boys 4x400 teams met for the Penn Relays College of America showdown including Bullis, Kingston College, and Excelsior. A tumble during the second exchange with the Bullis runner could have been disastrous for the US favorite. But once Quincy Wilson grabbed the baton, the speedster launched an attack. He plowed past runners while the crowd roared with excitement. Would the US defeat the Jamaican's? Not this time. Kingston College won the championship in 3:11. Excelsior finished in 3:12 and Bullis in 3:13.

Quincy may be a generational talent. Let's hope he stays injury free so we can find out.

Seems like every race Bullis took a fall and the final leg had to drag them back into medals smh. Great run though. If the distance was a bit longer he may have won it for them at the end. Congrats to Jamaica 🇯🇲 making the Caribbean proud as usual 😊

That's crazy.... Bullis team had falls/drops two races in a row... definitely would have won the finals, smh.

This track is trash! It INSANE to have 9 teams truncated to the outside 5 lanes of a track with a metal railing separating perfectly runnable lanes because someone measured the oval tragically.

I know this stuff happens but twice on the same day putting Q in a situation?....Just bad luck. Been coaching HS track for 30+ years and seen some shit. Had shit happen with my squad. Pulled hammys, dropped batons, falls, false starts etc. Coach had to be " Really?? How can this be happening!?" Snake bit. I stopped wishing teams "Good Luck". I wish them "No Bad Luck!"

I hope the coach is mindful of the stress level on tendons, ligaments, joints, and muscle. I hope they are spending twice as much time on recovery and physical maintenance than they are on track work. This kid needs to be mindful of being over-ran.
