I totally agree with you. Ballyhoo to me is #1. All fish eat it , and when use in chunks the little snappers bites it but can’t eat the whole thing and does when big mama comes in a swallow the whole piece. I think I have seen most of your videos And the ones from shore or bridges are the ones I give the most credit. Sometimes we get more from shore than from a boat. The reason is that you know what you doing. , that’s the reason for your success. Your videos are good and well explained. Nothing better than a mutton from a bridge, to bad they are not all keepers. Thank you for posting your memories, thank you for your services and tight lines.
Man it’s crazy I followed you on instagram saw the fish you were catching made think about getting back into the hobby thank you. I stopped because I had all my rods & gear stolen a year ago I forgot how amazing it was THANK YOU!💯
Hey Chad.🎣❣️Down South Fishing recommend your videos and this great Granny is glad he did. Excellent job young Man 🎣🎣🎣❤️🙏 Happy Easter 🐰🙏bty I've been fishing for 61 years now♥️ 9 kids,42 grandchildren and one great grand. We all be fishing
I just want to thank you for rekindling the love of fishing for me I hope to see you out there on the bridges thank you again you are truly amazing maybe one day we can fish together
Great content Chad! Always glad to see you out there slaying! Can't wait to get back on the bridge myself after coming back from the frozen tundra. Tight lines brother 🤘😎
@@ChadgonefishingI live in fort Myers would be awesome to meet you out there I was just talking about taking the little drive to long key bridge with two of my friends, I like that bait shop out there in homestead y&l figured might as well get the bait out there at like 3am
bro I think you were the guy who helped me get the hog snapper out in bahía honda key, I was with my dad, I don't know if you remember me or maybe I'm wrong, we started talking a lot and you taught me several tips, too My fishing line had gotten tangled up a lot 😅.
Modern rod, reel, and line technology has come a long way. I've caught some huge bull reds and black drum on rods that look like they should only be good for bass. I haven't caught any tarpon yet but I'm moving back to Florida soon so planning to fix that.

Pick the size sinker based on the wind+combo of the speed of the current. Pick the lb test based on what bait you are using and clarity of the water. Hope this helps!
Wow that was a big 17'' snapper man I'm going to be out there in May What's that Red Tide like Are will it mess up the fishing off the Bridges When I get out there Thanks man I can't weight to get out there
Hey chad heading home now from bridge fishing with my wife, was a slow day but the highlight for us was her hooking a tarpon on a live shrimp, unfortunately didn’t land it. Got me thinking and I wanted to ask you if you knew where we could find live greenbacks? Maybe a captain that catches and sells them or even a bait shop? Please let me know, thanks for your time!
Chad, when I use to live there I would fish big pine, channel 5 long key bridges at night catching 5 to 10 pounds mangrove snappers using a Coleman lantern to see around me , not on the water, but I have caught big snappers with the light at channel 5 and big pine with the light sitting on the sea wall and at same time catching shrimp that swim into the light, the light was also a bait attractor , the big snappers would be right out side the lights in the Shadows, waiting for bait to come bye, try it at night ,then put on Video,,,,Stay Safe God Bless,,,
Wassup great vid, I am in the keys right now and when to that bridge this evening and the current was ripping and I only caught one keeper grunt.any tips? Thanks
That was awesome to meet you man! Thank you for landing him! Yeah buddy!

Nice video, can I recommend a wind noise reduction device over the microphone, it will help with the audio quality. Keep up the good work.
thanks!
Love that new intro, Keep it up
I shortened to appeal to people’s attention span!

Howdy how do you keep from catching a lot of by catch like grunts and what not I’ve been struggling a lot with that lately. Thanks! 👍😊
Great video!! What reel is that Shimano bait runner 6000 or 8000?

Great video, have you ever thought about targeting those big snappers at night,, get some lights it's on,,,Stay Safe God Bless,,😀
The best way to target them at night is not to use lights
