@@carolinenjoki8435 Yes I did. You can get an extension for a few extra weeks but you have to pay first term in full
I bought my first Canadian jacket from Aritzia with fluffy detachable hood for $280. Despite it being expensive at that time, it’s one of my best investments cuz I did not know what is cold and I lived in Winnipeg so you can imagine the temp. I definitely recommend their jacket. You just need one good jacket & you can wing the rest. Wish you all the best, Asy! God is definitely gonna favor you all around in all that you do in the land of Canada.

Being the first tenant means you can pray in the kind of co-tenants you would be comfortable with. This is very key as you need a conducive environment around you. Once you are more settled, food items can be sent to you from home, although there might be some African food stores near your locality.
