Good stuff, Kris. Sixty-seven degrees is the perfect temperature to work hydraulic pits. Add some clouds, and it’s even better. Water’s the main issue, I know. Beyond the standard toolkit, I use a vacpack and a heavy wrecking bar (cleave off the fracturing bedrock and vacuum whatever’s behind or beneath). Beautiful country!
Great adventure messin around the Hydraulic pits , that looked like fun 👍👍. They must have got some gold there to want to move all that rock . I know it would be hard work , but you could try moving some rocks and detecting around under them ,might be something the old timers missed . You never know till you give it a go . Cheers Ned . ✌
Hey buddy if you get a chance look up seafoam ranger station I think that would definitely be a good spot for you to check out and test several hard rock mines and placer workings in that area.
Best of luck next trip out, that is the reality of prospecting, I just got back after 3days out bush and not one piece after almost 20klms walked in search of the au.
Heck yea Kris! I like the way you rolled with the punches and kept developing your plan to stay on the gold! Great job and great video! 👍😎🎩⚒️G.P.
