Another proof is that when you give all the death roots to Gurranq and then fight Maliketh at Farum Azula, he recognizes you and asks something like “why Tarnished? why would you?”. Only Dragonlord Placidusax lives outside of time, which is why we have to lay down in a certain spot and go back to the past to defeat him.

The Dragonlord Placidusax fight was awesome. It was like two kaijus battling it out with swords and big magic spells. It was so dynamic with both dodging attacks, yet they were pretty evenly matched. The music fit perfectly too!
Placidusax disappearing right before the elden beast was going to dive bomb him was the greatest thing I’ve ever seen in one of these videos, second only to Godfrey suplexing the fire giant
No one's talking about how Radagon easily dodged the Elden Beast's aoe attack and casually dodged other attacks as if he was being controlled by a irl player. I mean y'all can't tell me I'm the only one that noticed those human lvl dodge skills lol. Plus the areas didn't help the Elden Beast at all and given it's grab doesn't work it kinds lost a good close up move, but mostly the areas were too small and not being in its own arena definitely made it weaker.
It one of the things I love is when you see the AI in these boss fights do a regular move but the timing just makings it looks like genius level ten dodge
The scaling on his DOT can go sky high based on his opponent's health bar, though in the lore it would probably level off (otherwise the Church of Marika dialogue about Marika wanting the Shattering to happen makes no sense, as no demi-god could ever beat Maliketh, only Tarnished could). Also, one of his hover blade combos seems to fly through a pillar, but a later one gets stuck on a pillar. He'd probably win anyway, but that was odd. Sometimes I wonder if a few bosses affect arena assets.
@@nightscout9979 meh, no need to floor his damage lore wise, it’s just than in a lore friendly fight, he probably wouldn’t land a single hit on malenia, way too agile; while radahn could probably tank it for a while, I mean, we literally fight him while he has been inflicted with rot for a loooong while
@@catiminiclergus537 the lore states every demigod was scared of maliketh. malenia is an empyrean, but still a demigod. being scared doesnt automatically mean losing, but radan was also said to be the strongest demigod and we know what happened there. Watching this, I'm reminded of just how many attacks the Elden Beast has, between the sword slashes, the nebulas, the holy magic... It feels like they could have removed a few without problems. Also big shoutout to Morgott who managed to do quite a bit of damage with only 1 hp.
Well it the thing I find interesting with these videos of bosses fighting and how many moves you see could completely wipe out enemy bosses, but they won't always do the heavy moves but also how many moves they actually have.
Can you imagine their reactions to seeing this shit? “Is that…is that fucking GOD what walking around beating people’s asses? Have I gone completely insane?!”
This is by far the best elden ring content channel. I would love to see the black blade Kindred specifically the one guarding the beast clergyman place.
Some of these were actually really sick. Godfrey both versions, radagon for sure. Was totally rooting for fortisax. But watching these has made me realize malenia kinda ain’t shit without her healing.
if you can stagger her and preempt the waterfowl dance, yeah she's not the toughest foe. Then again with the elden beast if you pile on the purely physical striking damage it staggers and you can get a nice riposte in as well. All in all, smash things with a hammer. Thank you, this has been my Ted Talk.
Renalla's stall tactics were more effective than her actually attacking the boss. Though I wonder what would have happened if she managed to summon more powerful allies, like the dragon and the giant, its possible that they would have distracted the Beast long enough for her to win.
I feel like this really shows that elden beast is scaled with the idea that you’re fighting radagon first in mind. Doesn’t stand against later game bosses alone
I almost feel bad for the poor thing... Not that that stopped me from rooting against it! :D I'm curious about two things: 1) How consistent are these outcomes? Some of them looked like they came down to RNG, basically. 2) Is it possible to rig things up so a player controls the boss?
Yeah, I think it's RNG. For example; if gideon had used scarlet Aeonia he probably would have won. Or if radahn would have been more aggressive like he is against the player. Likewise, the elden beasts doesn't always use the best move for a given situation.
1. rng and battlefield makes the result different. but some cases are 100 percent. like malenia will never lose. maliketh has like 10 percent of losing chance imo. 2. yes player can control mobs including bosses
Fire Gaint, Lichdragon, and that Dragon Lord... it was like it was meant to fight the Elden Beast. Epic! (Then that soundtrack against the Dragon Lord wow)
I couldn't help cracking up as Godrick essentially ate all those projectiles after getting roasted, only gets to change to phase 2...only to die to that continued faceful of projectiles b4 getting a chance to use his dragon arm.

Makes sense because Elden Beast needed Godfrey at his prime and a bunch of demigods to really win it. Mali also be fighting, all of the golden order be at prime in the giant battle
Elden Shushi Tonight! (Survival of the Fittest right there)
Placidusax vs Elden Beast is the most epic fight ever
i know right? it was the most epic battle so far in this boss vs boss battle in this channel.
Elden Beast's attack pattern works like Radahn's Bow. The bigger and slower, the better.
As you could expect, it can barely dodge any reasonably fast attack, and it performs significantly worse the smaller and faster the enemy is.
Fire giant somehow the exception lol
@@mikaelanorth5620 Old Redbeard is surprisingly quick, and his mobility skills make great counterattacks!
He also has his own arsenal of range attacks, making him pretty effective against everything without health drain
Rykard?
The fight against Placidussax is incredible!
In split 2nd Dark Soul 3 Prince Dragon and Rider shows up (out of no where) and wow it'd be amazing too
0:31 Let us pay our respects to this nameless soldier who was a mere mortal, but courageously stood his ground, valiantly fought and wounded a God for his Lord's sake, despite his Lord being an ego centric mad man.
Beast Clergyman gets bullied like in those animes where the hero gets bullied by a street gang, then shows his true power..
As soon as Malekith came in, I was like what's a god to the destined death!!
14:22 It's insane that he survived that shit though. Our boy needs more poise.
What is a God to a non-believer!
@@TheStraightestWhitest yeah he needs way more poise and full hp bar in phase 2. Like he can litterly throw a huge rock with 1 hand so I don't get the low poise
@@hugo-pg5tv He's the size of Radahn and can create earthquakes with his bare hands and fling boulders the size of five men like peanuts, but has 80 poise, which can be broken in one R2 from a greathammer with Cragblade.
Make it make sense, From Software...
Yeah he needs 30k health and at least 120 poise.
@@TheStraightestWhitest yeah he litterly got his poise broken 2 times in a row the first attack the Elden beats did ffs. Like he has close to 12k HP and that is in both of his phases. Some op weapons like blasphemous blade does 3k dmg with each attack.
It's weird how elden beast's longest and most cinematic attack is barely damaging
This attack deals damage. Only this is holy damage. The problem is that most of the main bosses have a lot of resistance to holy damage.
@@Xgenstudioz777 That explains why my Holy Knight build fucking sucks. XD
@@Dra_El9980 honestly you have to tailor your build slightly depending on what area you're in.
A few of the bosses that could tank its attacks are bosses with high holy resistance
It’s designed to hurt players who have way less health by being annoying to dodge
I was seriously rooting for my boy plasidusax so glad he got the dub 😂
Also super interesting to see godskin duo do so well considering their lore is essentially bounty hunters that keep the gods in check!
Gideon:a man cannot kill a god...
Godfrey:am i a joke to you?
Lol
Malkeith absolutely destroyed it. He’s probably the strongest dude in the lore
Too bad he doesn't have a secret ending like after giving him all the deathroots we can resurrect him and challenge the golden order and unlock the ending
The age of the good boi 🐕
@@mark0183 well he doesn’t die
In the present I mean
When we kill him in farum azula, we kill him in another time, so he is still alive
And I guess the ending he would most appreciate currently is probably the basic one
@@catiminiclergus537 Farum Azula isn't outside of time, there are multiple proof of that. When you complete the quests for Bernahl in Volcano Manor, he helps you defeat Godskin duo and if you betray Volcano Manor then he invades you Farum Azula.
@@SkiHigh then why is gurranq alive after we kill maliketh? Also, I might be wrong, but I think Bernahl invades you anyway. That’s why I think Farum azula is in the future, hence Maliketh recognizing us, but still being alive after killed
if maliketh didnt have half health and there were no pillars to abuse, he would definitely be one of the hardest boss in the game
The Dragonlord Placidusax fight was awesome. It was like two kaijus battling it out with swords and big magic spells. It was so dynamic with both dodging attacks, yet they were pretty evenly matched. The music fit perfectly too!
Godskins weren’t joking when they say their flames could kill a God
And this is without any Destined Death left since Maliketh took it all. It used to kill instantly.
Wish Astel was a closer fight cause seeing them trade blows with magic was amazing
@@Henbot Facts!
Mohg really said "My outer god could beat up your outer god."
As someone that did a blackflame build run, I can confirm that any blackflame weapon and incantations is extremely effective against the elden beast
Man I'd love to see this kind of thing with pretty much all the bosses lol
31:10 Malenia's dash towards the camera leading to a posture break on the Elden Beast was actually pretty cool
Damn Maliketh just shredded Elden Beast
Maliketh>>Pussy
The scaling on his DOT can go sky high based on his opponent's health bar, though in the lore it would probably level off (otherwise the Church of Marika dialogue about Marika wanting the Shattering to happen makes no sense, as no demi-god could ever beat Maliketh, only Tarnished could). Also, one of his hover blade combos seems to fly through a pillar, but a later one gets stuck on a pillar. He'd probably win anyway, but that was odd. Sometimes I wonder if a few bosses affect arena assets.
@@nightscout9979 meh, no need to floor his damage lore wise, it’s just than in a lore friendly fight, he probably wouldn’t land a single hit on malenia, way too agile; while radahn could probably tank it for a while, I mean, we literally fight him while he has been inflicted with rot for a loooong while
@@catiminiclergus537 You really think Malenia is stronger than fking MALIKETH???? like 😂
@@catiminiclergus537 the lore states every demigod was scared of maliketh. malenia is an empyrean, but still a demigod. being scared doesnt automatically mean losing, but radan was also said to be the strongest demigod and we know what happened there. If marika is stronger than the demigods, then so is maliketh, as maliketh was her shadow, meaning if things went bad he was to kill marika.
I really expected placidusax to lose, but that badass dodge and startup to the beam attack said all that needa be said
Elden Beast: "I'm going for a walk. A very enthusiastic walk."
That Placidusax battle was one of the coolest fights I've seen yet!
Godfrey said "you're locked in here with me"
Watching this, I'm reminded of just how many attacks the Elden Beast has, between the sword slashes, the nebulas, the holy magic...
Can we all appreciate Soldier of Godrick almost soloing Elden beast! What a legend
He definitely did better than against Radagon who when I remember in the video this channel did Radagon totally vaporized him in like one move LMAO
Elden beat is lucky that Rick took it easy on him
26:25 is epic painting
Godfrey (spectral form) killing a god without too much trouble. World's biggest chad.
Elden Beast: "Hey guys how is your health plan?"
All Bosses: *attacks*
Elden Beast: "APPARENTLY IT WAS GREAT!"
Chadfrey, Maliketh, Fire Giant and Ghost Chadfrey laughing at the corner.
Radagon, Maliketh, and Godfrey's health plan is holy resistance transfusion
Wtfffff Elden beast about to dive at placidusax and placidusax just teleporting at the right time so sick
I'd love to see Godskin Duo vs All of them. I wonder if anyone actually wins against them. Doubt it.
Malenia does
They're essentially 8 godskins. Maybe use the same amount of crucible knight.
@@thegk-verse4216 ehh not anymore, maybe in a previous update but I just fought them last week and its closer to 3.5
@@yoshikagekira1446 there is a video of malenia losing to them
@@새벽의가로등 yeah they both win some times I saw that
Godrick: we will bath in rays of gold
Elden beast: will a golden shower do?1:41
The subtitles on the Fire Giant scene are hilarious 😂
Great work! 👏
Godrick: i am the lord of all that is golden
Elden beast: bet *showers him in a ray of gold"
Godrick: YES, wait one sec let me offer my arm to u
1:30
Can you imagine their reactions to seeing this shit?
“Is that…is that fucking GOD what walking around beating people’s asses? Have I gone completely insane?!”
The fights against Placidusax and Astel were thing of beauty.
Also the Lichdragon!
Such an amazing video, can’t wait for the next one.
Rykard finally devoured a god!
i swear everytime placidus go agaist elden beast shits always looks so good, like they knew we would do things like this
Radagon getting hit by the Sacred Relic Sword... "Stop hitting yourself! Stop hitting yourself!"
Elden beast needed a reality check that Mohgstein is just *built different*
This is by far the best elden ring content channel. I would love to see the black blade Kindred specifically the one guarding the beast clergyman place.
Bro that debuff effect thing that passively damages you that maliketh and godskind can inflict are fucking ridiculous
Man everything after 26:15 is a fucking cinematic masterpiece
Soilder of Godrick got caught off guard. He needs a rematch!
The Placidusax fight was incredible but especially how well it fits to the musical score with moments like 26:40
is cool
Astounding visuals, especially during the Dragon battles. Was curious to see how Fallingstar Beast would fare, but mayhaps next time- here's to that!
Okay but the visual aspect of lichdragon vs elden beast is so cool
The Dragonlord fight was beyond epic!
Renalla is the essence of the noob who saw a comet azure build on TH-cam and then when it didn't kill the boss in one go has no backup plan :)
rennala is canonically the most powerful shardbearer cuz nobody can figure out how to get through her stupid eggshell
Dragonlord be like: “This was a good workout, but time to end it.”
24:55
28:00
these moments are so epic
Ah, yes they epic moments felt like I was an Anime I'll get to see unless it's here.
god devouring serpent against bosses would be good, also fire giant or godrick(revenge on family!)
Radagon : You're so dead boss
Elden beast : what?! *started crying *
Renalla's stall tactics were more effective than her actually attacking the boss. Though I wonder what would have happened if she managed to summon more powerful allies, like the dragon and the giant, its possible that they would have distracted the Beast long enough for her to win.
1:40
Godrick: I am the lord of all that is golden.
Elden Beast: And I took offence to that.
More proof that if we hadn’t shown up Godfrey still would’ve gotten it done. Gigachad
Elden beasts legs don’t exist they can’t hurt you elden beasts legs don’t exist they can’t hurt you
If spirit hologram Godfrey can kill Elden beast then original will floor it
Not gonna lie, I was surprised to see Rennala shredding Elden Beast so hard in phase 1. Lost in the end tho, but still.
It's basically complete RNG if it targets or hits the correct sweeting and then Rennala while she is lying down.
For a bit I thought Fortissax would win, he was really close. A shame he didn't though, would have been great to see.
Fortisaxx and the Elden beast staring eachother down is so badass
I feel like this really shows that elden beast is scaled with the idea that you’re fighting radagon first in mind. Doesn’t stand against later game bosses alone
I almost feel bad for the poor thing... Not that that stopped me from rooting against it! :D
I'm curious about two things:
1) How consistent are these outcomes? Some of them looked like they came down to RNG, basically.
2) Is it possible to rig things up so a player controls the boss?
Yeah, I think it's RNG. For example; if gideon had used scarlet Aeonia he probably would have won. Or if radahn would have been more aggressive like he is against the player.
Likewise, the elden beasts doesn't always use the best move for a given situation.
1. rng and battlefield makes the result different. but some cases are 100 percent. like malenia will never lose. maliketh has like 10 percent of losing chance imo.
2. yes player can control mobs including bosses
That Fire Giant fight was epic.
I'd love to see how the Caelid Bell Bearing Hunter does against bosses. He wrecked me at much as Maliketh and Malenia.
I still haven't beat Caelid hunter yet
Godrick: "I am the lord of all that is golden"
Elden Beast: "And I took that personally"
Fire Gaint, Lichdragon, and that Dragon Lord... it was like it was meant to fight the Elden Beast. Epic! (Then that soundtrack against the Dragon Lord wow)
I couldn't help cracking up as Godrick essentially ate all those projectiles after getting roasted, only gets to change to phase 2...only to die to that continued faceful of projectiles b4 getting a chance to use his dragon arm.
the fight with Placidusax was awesome especially the finish with the Placidusax Ruin
Well this video proves an interesting concept, a good stagger build makes things way easier.
Godfrey's fight is surreal, It felt like this is what would happen if our tarnished didn't interrupt, I hope you done Godfrey in your next Boss Vs Boss series!
imagine the bosses are like "oh the player is gonna come in and we are gonna fight" then they see the Elden Beast
Grafted Scion vs Elden Beast is like coughing baby vs hydrogen bomb
11:20, 26:25 such great battles, so cinematic
This makes me proud to say I've defeated this massive beast!
Lol it looks kinda cute actually. Like a big silly pokemon or zelda creature.
I can't wait to see what's next
Placidusax was fucking insane, honestly. That Elden Rain of Stars DODGE, though. Also, Placidusax's Ruin OBLITERATED Elden Beast.

Rays of gold eh?
