They really think they're harming someone by separating themselves and going to another website as if "making a statement"... People who care about being on social media and want free speech have been waiting for them to do that ever since Jack Dorsey's Twitter..... The problem was there was only 2 main social websites being Twitter and Facebook and both of them were heavily skewed towards leftism and they weren't shy about abolishing any and everything that challenged it, treating half of their users like they're second-class citizens while ironically claiming to champion free discourse lol.
These people choosing to go to Blue sky because they're butthurt that they can't be around only people who parrot their own thoughts is a wonderful thing because it means that now everyone has a choice between multiple websites rather than just 2 that only favors the left.
Id love to say i hope they stay there but unfortunately i think they're going to slowly crawl back because if there's anything people hate including the left, it's being around dictatorial people who tells them what they can and cant do with themselves in a patronizing and pretentious way, and a leftist bubble is just that. Even leftists eventually get annoyed with it, some distancing themselves and others just straight up moving to another political side. The problem with the ones who ends up distancing themselves from it is they'll come back to where everyone else is to lecture them and demanding they be censored, because the hypocrites don't want others telling them what they can and cant think, they want to be the ones doing it to others, so they'll be back on Twitter picking up where they left off whining about how others should be censored....

Surgery, and NO, ABSOLUTELY NOT, I do not wish what I experienced and suffered on anyone. I pray for help. I pray that God causes my doctors to be sympathetic, understanding, merciful, gracious. A little window into that decision to not pay for extra anestisia from a person well aware of how medical billing works. My mother runs a dialysis unit in NY for a non-profit company, and she absolutely hates what the system has been forced to become. Lets say a dialysis treatment costs $500 for the office to cover costs and keep the doors open. If a patient has medicaid or medicare the government will then TELL the company how much they're going to reimburse the hospital for that treatment, lets say $250. Then you have the large insurance companies who do the same thing under the assumption that they cover a lot of patients and will bring the office a lot of work, just like walmart negotiates prices of products under the promise that they will be able to sell so much of that product its worth it for the company to sell with a smaller profit margin. What that practice has done is force medical care companies to then overcharge people with small insurance companies or no insurance at all to make up the costs not paid by the government because their margins were already tight. What the whole thing has created is a massive overbilling crisis to counter the negotiation of prices and the large hospital groups are the worst offenders. Im sure that the large hospital groups have used the anestisia thing as a way to recoup costs and regularly overcharge for it. The thing my mom really hates though is how people who have worked their entire life and have their own insurance cant get all the care they need while undocumented citizens get red carpet treatment through the govt and American citizens pay extra to cover what the goverment wont pay for the care they force companies to give to non citizens. My father was in the ICU for over a month many years ago and the bill was almost half a million dollars. The itemized bill had things like a $500 charge each day for a sponge bath given by a person who did it in 20mins and was only getting paid $20hr to do it. His insurance company got the bill cut down to a lil over $200k but for anyone who didnt have insurance those sponge baths would cost a full $500 and the only negotiation is pay the full price or we ruin your credit with a collections agency. It all comes down to the government having so many people on medicare and medicaid who the tax payers are already paying for only to have to pay even more when they need care because the hospitals cant keep the lights on with the money the government gives them. People say they want socialozed medicine but we pretty much are already there

there's a difference between wanting someone dead and not feeling empathy for someone who died simply cuz you didn't like them. If someone wronged me, i'm not gonna give them empathy, because i am entitled to give it to whoever i feel needs it (i'm talking of - my empathy). If you want me to empathize with you, you must give me a reason to. There's a reason why people feel sad when their favourite actor or singer dies, it's not like they ever had the chance to meet and befriend them in person, but they connected to them through their work in music and film and knowing their not around anymore makes it feel like you lost a family member, cuz their movies and music is a part of your childhood. Conversely, when an actor or singer you don't like passes, then you won't care because you didn't like their movies or music, so you probably avoided watching them and listening to them. Wishing someone dead automatically implies you care if they die or not and therefore "not caring if they die" automatically implies you did not wish them dead.

It is NOT supply and demand in the usual sense, it's price fixing, monopoly, the rules are written by those with the money. The market is not determining the prices. It's preying on the vulnerable. And when people pay for a service and die when the service is not provided, that is the crime that starts with M. No one should take that job, no matter how much it pays.
And at $10 million a year, plus bonuses, if you're real desperate, take that job for a year and spend the rest of your life doing charitable works.
