    I saw Aerosmith in 93 and 97 and had front row seats both times (I was in the fan club and you had access to better seats) and it was like $30 per ticket. The last big show I went to was the current Kiss tour and it was $130 for lower balcony seats and even that seemed a little crazy. At this point, concerts are only attended exclusively by rich people

    I can watch concerts and videos of my favorite bands on you tube. Crank the volume and watch hours and hours of them on my Big screen at my home thru my great sound system for FREE. The price is right and there are no assholes to deal with-:) Rock On.

    Screw LiveNation.
    My wife and I saw 5 concerts at Jones Beach theatre in NY this summer. $25 per ticket for each show. No taxes or fees, free parking.
    Great shows, legit.
    I ain’t paying $300-$400 per ticket. Take a hike!!

    You think these prices are shit? I was looking into tickets for my all time favorite band, Queen. Cheapest seats in the arena....$289. If you factor in sales tax and ticketmaster's stupid fees, that's a $400 ticket. I love Queen, but would feel sick to my stomach spending that much to be a mile away from Brian May/Roger Taylor.

    Tickets for KISS LA Forum Aug 1977 w Cheap Trick for the recording of KISS Alive II.. $7.50-$8.50-$9.50.. tickets for up close seats at final Hollywood Bowl Show . $20,000+...which show was better? I'm thinking I would rather have the $9.50 memory...

    Neil didn't write everything in Rush. He wrote the lyrics. The music was Alex.

      Didn’t Geddy write the music with Alex?

    Those Aerosmith ticket prices sound like resale prices not actual ticketmaster prices

      I was just on there checking the united center 1,200 for very bad floor seats

      I was online the exact second they went on sale and that's what they were priced at. The CHEAPEST seats were $300 behind the stage literally 2 seconds after they went on sale. Unless Ticketmaster is somehow selling to resellers before the sale date which also wouldn't surprise me

      @@zachary_attackery and now they postponed the tour 😂 so much greed and no tour at all this year 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

    • @zachary_attackery
      @zachary_attackery ปีที่แล้ว

      @@folladordeprostis the problem is EVERY large arena in the country has exclusivity deals with ticketmaster so the only way around it would be for a band like Aerosmith to play in a little theater that doesn't use ticketmaster and they'd have to play for like 5 nights straight and sell the tickets themselves (which actually is exactly what Prince did when I saw him, he did 2 shows a night for 4 days in a small 1000 seat theater and charged 20 bucks a ticket). Ticketmaster essentially has a monopoly on large concerts

    I'd rather see Mike Mangini instead of Portnoy get the Rush gig.. He could pull off that gig. That said, it would be interesting to see how Trunk reacts. If Mangini got the gig, he'd shit all over it. If Portnoy got it, since he's 'his good friend' he'd have no problem with it, even if they called it Rush... he seems to have no problem with the Pantera reunion. Why? because his buddies got the gig.... but F Thayer!!! LOL

    I blame the fans, I won't and haven't paid it. I just don't go. I'll go see bands at clubs for 30 bucks. They will go out as rush, maybe Bobby blotzers rush. 1k to see a geriatric Arrowsmith. No thanks. Who pays these prices?
