I needed this, thanks! Raider Overhaul is a fantastic mod but really does pigeonhole you into a lot of the aspects it adds while making compatibility a bit of a nightmare unless you want to spend an eternity in FO4Edit
how is your load order with raider overhaul? raider gangs works with better location damage?
Grease Rats mod is a underrated raider mod
I agree, i tried so hard to get it to work in this list but everything would overwrite it, so I really just had to make a choice. It’s a great alternative though
That one is my favorite. I think the outfits go great with the Sim Settlements 2 added clothing.
I also use that but haven’t seen them much since I installed cw raider pack.

The guy that made unleveled raiders has a mod called redistributed level list it does some cool things like remove the pipe weapons but it rebalances the ll to make up form the absence

I use it with handmade weapons replaced because the pipe revolver in that mod looks really cool

Have you tried More Clothes and Textures? I think it adds variety in a more important way than Clothing of the Commonwealth does, color! Instead of just cutting and matching it adds numerous recolors for outfits. Not to mention it is newer and still receives updates. Also the non lore friendly stuff isn't included in the level list, its only craftable.

Raiders are the real example of society in a post apocaliptic world, they deserve all the love you can give them.
Yeah it does get a bit repetitive when you keep killing the same few raiders but I think all the duplicated settlers is more of an obvious annoyance. I like the look of these new raiders tho. 👍

anybody know how to get vortex to play nice with this load order? i keep getting cyclic rules all over the place trying to get them in the order shown
I know this is old, but I thought I'd add an alternative for removing pipe weapons, a mod called "No Pipes and Unlevelled DLC Weapons" by Spinerex. It not only removes pipe weapons from the game, it adds in all sorts of other vanilla weapons randomly. Not for everyone as it not only adds handmade rifles, lever-action rifles, western revolvers, etc., you'll occasionally see harpoon guns, broadsiders and cryolators! They all spawn right from level one on raiders, gunners, super mutants and settlers. It really changes things up in a fun way. Thanks for the great mod list.

Something I wish someone would come up with is a mod that lets you edit the level lists for enemy and friendly factions. This way you can customize friendly factions and make things harder for the player or easier.
I’ve used the Toxic Raider armor for my Overboss Raider gal, loved all the options, different armor pieces, goggles, piercings, etc, but didn’t know about the others. I ALWAYS play as a Raider, so as a rule of thumb most of my load order are mods fleshing them out, so thank you for this video, I’ll be adding them today 😊
I like the idea of pipe guns, because like the raiders they are lore friendly and fit in with FO4s DIY themes.
I just wish there was more variety in utility and appearance. There should be some nailgun or shotgun variants and not look like 2x4. Great concept, poor execution

As any drug addict knows, you can't always be high on your chem of choice. Therefore, it would be highly immersive to encounter junkie raiders in "withdrawal." Maybe they have less stamina and say stuff like "oh god why'd this have to happen today... If I just had one puff of jet"

Adam Adamowicz was the concept designer for almost everyone on Fallout 3. The great raider armors/clothing are his designs. He passed away in 2012. Why I think the armor designs in Fallout 4 are not as good as in Fallout 3

Just downloaded mods for my raider play through. If you are into settlement building, definitely recommend ‘Dead Wasteland’ I sided with the Disciples and the Pack, and have wasteland animals running around their compound as should be, and for the disciples used plenty of gory vulgar decorating with human remains, tombstones and coffins for a cemetery. But it’s more than that, it’s made my settlements individual and diverse, I’ve spent hours working on stuff, for fun 😂 you have to explore it, but it adds hundreds or more different items for building and cluttering your settlements
I'll use 2 or 3 of these 100%!
I don’t mind pipe guns every once in awhile. But when you fight a small army of raider not all of them should be wielding pipe guns
There is a mod out there that replaces supermutants with raiders. That would work well with this.

only like 4 of these armors look like they could actually protect the wearer like raiders might not be the smartest but they should at lest know that u need to thing sturdy on the chest to protect you like like there not wearing any thing but maybe some cloth or leather or its spray cans and pipes would love to see a raider armor mod with like scrap versions of lesser known historical armors like the coat of arms or the brigandine or even splint armor
hey when i load the patch u made its an esp,,, but when u install the knight, and echo armors in vortex it says that im missing the esl files... see i never installed esl's......... i need to use esp's if im to adjust the load order that is suggested in video, i cant move esl's below esp's.... would u have any thoughts ?
Hmm, not the most familiar with vortex, but if it is similar enough to MO2, then install the mods, deactivate them, then reactivate them in the order you desire. Sorry in advance for the mod not working off the bat, my first attempt at modding
@@DegenerateDak oh thats cool not judging. ..... when u install the armors u have the option of esl or esp....if u choose esp, when u install ur patch it only recognizes esl. so thats when u get the flag ''ur missing the esl files'' that it relies on ..... vortex ... nont get me started im slowly getting the shits with it.....i used mo a long time ago with skyrim, its been so long now it may be a learning curve and a half...lol
@@stalkzoid61 I see, maybe i will rework the mod and make it more compatible, thanks for reporting the issue. But as for MO2, i think its wonderful and pretty easy to figure out. Once you learn where the settings are it's a life-saver

There are so many makeshift wepons mods to replace pipe guns or retexture them from boringass yellow-brown color to something more you know made by hand. But if you delete them completely that brake progression significantly. Anyone I know love look of some of that makeshift wepons mods.

Pipe guns are bad but also makes it more post apo hand made weapons i think fix would be to do beter models for them

@@outermeowven Could be. When I had it installed I crashed more but I switched it out for these and my game is more stable now

A lot of the mods included are sadly not on Xbox, but a few are, like the capital wasteland packs and clothing of the commonwealth
So not leveled raiders, because I want to take out pipe guns but don’t want to be left with only fists.

@@christianhealy7804 there are other mods that do this. If you look into survival mods there are a lot of them that unlevel the world making your modded guns able to appear alot more often. I even managed to completely replace all vanilla guns with modded ones this way xD

About 80-90, some of my favorites are the service rifle, akm, hunting shotgun and well pretty much anything by deadpool2099

I saw the comment below mentioning you un-hid your leveled list patch patch for the echos, but it still seems to be hidden. You still working on that by chance?
This video is a bit dated, the patch was done when I didn’t have as much modding knowledge and it was done poorly, so it is set to hidden until i update it

im confused how you were able to set this load order when some of these mods are flagged as esl's that auto sort to load directly after the esms.
With mo2 I’ve been able to move esls. It’s a little finicky at times but I’ve gotten it to work
