    You could buy a Mini fridge, one that only holds like 4 cans of pop. They are about $60 Canadian. Something to consider if it doesn’t work out with the powdered creamer

    Oh my gosh! This space is just beautiful! 🎉 I love the peaceful wall color and all the pops of color around the room from your crafty supplies! I’m like you, I prefer drawers, but it’s difficult to find drawers that open all the way…it’s why I’ve hesitated buying the IKEA Alex drawers. But, I can’t quite convince my hubby to spend on cabinets. I think it’s so wonderful that you’re making the lovely frames for your nieces and nephews of your mom’s crochet work! Such a lovely memory and so wonderful to have her handmade love to see on display every day. So sweet the boys wanted one as well! 🩵 Thanks for sharing…you’ve got such a lovely space to work in…can’t wait to see what you create this year! Hugs!

      Hello Christina from a very cold and snow filled Iowa! We have around 20 inches of snow that all fell last week for several days. You should see the very deep and high piles of snow that are in town. I love craft room tours. I’m hoping someday that I can have a much bigger craft room. Mine is full and is 12 x 12. It has a walk in closet that is also full. Even though it is full it is still very functional and is my happy place. But I have ran out of space to put things. Your craft room is gorgeous and so very organized. I love it. I also love the separate area that you have for your computer and embroidery station. My husband will be retiring in a few years. We would like to move to a warmer climate but still stay in the Midwest. We love the Kansas City area. So hopefully, we can get a house with a room the size I want for my craft room should we be able to make the move. I have aunts, uncles and cousins who live in PA. I’ve only ever been there once I can remember and another time when I was very very young. They live in State College and New Paris. I’d like to go visit them one day soon. I haven’t seen them for years. Thank you again so much for showing us your crafting space. I love it. Happy crafting to you!

    What a gorgeous craft room!! You are very blessed to have such a wonderful space to craft!! Can I ask you? I have been thinking about making cards but there is so much stuff! So many amazing things to buy and use and make gorgeous things! Can a person make money making cards?? How? and where? I can not imagine there is any money to be made here, but the more I see all you card makers have the most gorgeous spaces! How do you do this? Thank you for sharing your craft room !!

    Beautiful studio Christina. When you get that embroidery machine back in use, please make some videos. I would love to see what you make. Also you mentioned that you use different blending brushes for the oxide inks than you use for the dye inks. Can you explain why?

    • @catalinalaires4481
      @catalinalaires4481 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oxide inks are made with pigments which can contaminate your dye ink pads. If you want to skip the washing pigment off step and the LONG drying time, two sets are the way to go.

    I loved your original space but the upgrade is also beautifully done! For some reason, I really love craft spaces with slanted walls, but I think that is because I’ve never had one with slanted ceilings! lol. The spot for your embroidery machine is going to be great. It’s too big to haul around! Thank you for sharing, your organization is always inspiring.

    Gorgeous! As probably everyone else who owns IKEA cabinets, I wish they pulled out all the way like yours. Do the plastic sleeves you have your colored cardstock in protect it from the sun? I loved seeing my beautiful paper, but the edges were starting to get sun bleached, so I had to move it into my closet. Thanks for sharing! 😊❤️

    Beautiful video! If you don’t mind would like to know how did you hang the studio lights above the working desk so that you do not get any reflections? I have those neweer led light panels which I keep them standing beside the table but that takes a lot of space I think.

    • @CreationswithChristina
      @CreationswithChristina  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I mounted them to the ceiling using wall and ceiling mounts by LimeStudio. The are the 5/8" mounts. I placed them further away from my desk, so they are not directly above my work area and also put them at an angel so they not shining straight down. It helps make my whole room brighter.
