I think this is SO helpful. Most Catholic dating tips and advice are for those in their 20s. But in TODAY'S world, there are SO many singles in their 30s and 40s and up, who may have come back to the faith or converted and still want to marry in the Church. And live a devoted Christian life.
Many have obviously had premarital sex, many have been divorced. So it's an entirely different dynamic, and one that relationship coaches and experts in the Catholic space rarely touch. And they need to. This is our modern world and situation of today.
This tip you shared is excellent. Because as a single woman, this was one of the biggest issues I ran into as I met men my age. Divorced, and not annulled. I've heard many Catholic men saying the same thing about the women in the 30s up crowd.
It's easy to have this conversation with someone who is dedicated to their own walk in faith. They understand the context and importance and will do the steps to correct it if possible.
But making the choice to have to walk away if he/she's not is one you'll have to realistically face. Especially if you want to marry in the Church.
Also, it would be GREAT if you guys can explore navigating chasity for the older than 20s crowd in the dating market. Especially in such a hypersexual culture, and if you aren't a virgin but now live a chaste life. This is a HUGE one next to this topic you guys covered today.

Ok, here's my tip: don't date, it's a scam. Do whatever you want, just give up to find a husband or a wife.
