Thankyou I work in mental health and I'm frustrated with the lack of understanding around the causes and the narrow minded pharmaceutical dominated approaches . Good information

II have PD. I have been doing IF and the keto diet and notice a difference in the prevalence of my symptoms. Thank you both for this vital data.

I stumbled across the knowledge of Dr Phillips on a Stag Roar Podcast recently. This discussion with Dr Perlimuter is very interesting and reinforces that advice. I’ve been living with ‘whacky’ autoimmune symptoms for approx 4 years (tested ANA Positive) my goal in managing my health has always been focused on the four cornerstones sleep, nutrition, mobility and motility which has kept me in reasonably good health. However, that’s sometimes made it difficult to self manage or motivate consistently as the general population of doctors/specialists don’t acknowledge the importance of these areas of health. Intermittent Fasting has been essential for me to prepare before and after surgeries. Thank you for sharing this discussion with us all🕊️

Great insights! I am an abused single mother; USA corrupt injustice taken my children, my health, my freedom, but I keep fasting and praying. In fact just this year I have done 20 days of fasting.

Feel free to use me as your case study anytime I have done millions of blood tests during my various long-term water fasting periods and have had great success in curing my fatty liver and combating my diabetes ❤️🙏

I'd like to know more about how fasting helps stroke to recover

  • @yogabykate

Hi Dr. Perlmutter - could you please interview an integrative/functional neurologist regarding stroke recovery? The role that diet and supplements can play to eventually reduce medication and other integrative therapies? Thanks for all of your interviews and information!

This would be of great interest to me as well. Had a stroke at some point over the past 12 years but no symptoms. Then, out of nowhere, and never before had, a Grand Mal seizure required a CT scan that showed the old stroke. Drs thought I was having follow-up questionable mini-strokes for months after, CT scans showed nothing new. FInally saw a Neurologist who immediately said it was epileptic. Now on meds for that. Would love to know what options you might suggest. Thank you as well for your unstinting, support and in this field. :)

@@gerardcooke587 If you haven't yet attempted to rid your home environment of microwave radiofrequencies (from technologies like WiFi, cell phones, smart meters etc), that would be something to consider. The health threat from those artificial sources of electromagnetic radiation is real, but it's getting very little attention or regulation.

Is hypertension another "smoke" being treated with pharma when the underlying problem is only showing up as raised blood pressure, don't stop the indicator, treat the problem, more metabolic syndrome?

Dr. Perlmutter has released a book, “Drop Acid” that addresses a major cause, that of uric acid, since you posted your comment. It explains how uric acid causes if, how uric acid ends up in the body, and the way to lower it without drugs.

@@veronicaespinosa4158you do need longer. After 72 hours it will start to effect the brain. I'm now on day 4 and I start to feel it. Look his video up called: what happens when we fast.
I do take seamoss pills and 2 glasses of fresh juice a day and some water with a bit of salt.
      Good luck 🤗
