There's always a person in these movies who is trying to be with and protect the obviously infected and turned creatures, even while they're trying to kill them. I think the writers of these movies think it's cute and funny, but it's just old and tired, literally every movie does it.

Being in an airplane while a zombie apocalypse is either the best or the worst😂
I'd personally say that being on a medium-sized houseboat would be the way to go. Get enough fuel for moving when necessary but anchor it at an inlet surrounded by reefs with a depth around 30-40 feet and make sure to stash plenty of canned and preserved foods and plenty of buckets for gathering rainwater alongside a 50 gallon water barrel.
You could probably manage fine for a good 9 months at least as long as you fished and drank collected rainwater while supplementing with canned/preserved foods. By that point a lot of the zombies would be rotting away.
I'd avoid colder climates though because zombies would just freeze and thaw repeatedly.

Most of the B-films on this channel are absolute trash and a waste of time. But I recommend this movie. It's fun and scary. It's well paced and the tension remains high throughout. Some bad writing as far as character decisions go but in the moment you feel enthralled.

Yeah, the overhead bin definitely does not become a vacuum. You can even open them during flight. It's where they store the little blankets and pillows.

This seems like a sequel to the found footage zombie movie Rec. That apartment referenced in the news and by the government disease guy is probably the same apartment Rec takes place in. This sequel also has a similar sequence of events as Rec.
