@@jacobxiongnu2931 that does not make sense. The Hmong people are an ethnic group. The mongol/mongolian from Mongolia are not Hmong. The language and culture are totally different. One of few things they both have in common are they both from the east Asian race (or Mongoloid race). The Hmong people are more related to the Han Chinese vs the Mongols.

When Genghis Khan was killed mongols were probably hunted down and that might be why our hmong stories are always talking about wars and fleeing to different countries. We had a king and Genghis khan was probably our king.

It can be that we are mongols but separate out thousands of years ago. just like philipines and indoneasia. Same people but they separate and learn their own culture and language with same appearance.

Completely unrelated groups of people. Take a DNA test and you might see 1-10% Mongol dna.
