Finally i’ve found the unit that I actually want to main. Her fire weakness implant and ability to remove toughness bar of adjacent targets regardless of element allows her to be used against ANY enemy in the future

Well, this guide was very helpful!😍 Also, I've tried firefly with hanya which makes a GREAT HARMONY SUPPORT, Hanya can give a huge atk bonus, and flat spd (28 at lvl6), making it easier to scale up her spd, and atk as well... Resulting in more break effect reliability. Although yes, some of her dmg buffs don't give break dmg bonus, she still has the best output as compared to other chars(except bronya and ruan mei... They are in different leagues💀). Other suggestion i can give after me experimenting alot is that using fire dmg is not recommended as its utility declines because firefly scales on super break dmg mainly and she cannot get more dmg with fire dmg bonus sphere. It's a placeholder for those who've yet to get an atk sphere. I hope this may help someone!
Something I was curious about, the speed you recommended for Firefly was 150. However (if you have Ruan Mei) Ruan Mei’s talent increases everyone’s speed by up to 10%. So I was wondering, was the 150 speed recommendation put up there with or without Ruan Mei’s talent?
Asking the same question myself. Given she adds herself 60 SPD or 66 SPD at E5, you just need to have 150 SPD total prior transformation, so if you wear forge planar set and a SPD boot you would have enough SPD to reach the breakpoint if Ruan is in the party. I kinda wanna go crazy and go full BE!
got her in 20 pulls (65 pity), and her LC in just 10 pulls (30 pity). Already had Ruan Mei, but I really wanted to give the LC she was holding to trailblazer so pulled for her LC. got that in 20 pulls (20 pity). Hoyo has been super generous today.
6:20 I don't know if it's been tested already, but this set could also be the best set for break dps characters in general even if they aren't fire characters- since it only specifies fire weakness and not fire damage So hypothetically any break based DPS could benefit from this set- as long as the enemy you're facing already has fire weakness and a weakness to the element said character has
Putting Firefly and Ruan Mei at the same time as a welkin / occasionally BP player i was thinking there was no way I was gonna be able to get both + weapons. I somehow managed and got extremely lucky with my pulls, so now im rockin the firefly/ruan mei combo. Good thing this team uses two 4 stars so its lower investment than some other teams. Though I'm getting WRECKED in the relic farming atm lol.

For the 4th slot, since I already have Fugue for Super Break, would Sunday (without his signature light cone, I have Robins signature lightcone but not sure how well it would match with Sunday) be a viable choice instead of Harmony MC? I try to just play for fun with characters I like like all of the above ones but still be able to clear content.

In a firefly team, should Ruan Mei use Vonwacq/Penacony for the planar ornament? I keep seeing conflicting advice. Some people say the energy is necessary and the most important thing for her relics, and some people say it's not needed and running Talia or any other set that doesn't have 5% energy. I'm going to use a self modeling resin for an ERR rope, so I wanna know which set to use to not waste it.
If you have s3+ memories of the past you can 3 turn ult anyways so no need for the 5% err. If this is the case I would recommend broken keel or the new speed set.

I'm going to use a self modeling resin for an ERR rope, so I wanna know which set to use to not waste it.
If you have s3+ memories of the past you can 3 turn ult anyways so no need for the 5% err. If this is the case I would recommend broken keel or the new speed set.
