    I love the perspective, but prefer the white background. 💜

    Tbh, while the marble is beautiful, I preferred the white background for clarity and contrast. Also your voice, to my old ears, sounded crisper and clearer at the beginning of the tute. Hope this helps 👍✌️🫶😊 Btw, that piece with the texture and inks reminded me of Van Gogh's Starry Night! 😁

    Love the setup. Both backgrounds are good. light clay/dark background: Dark clay/white background. As I said I like both. You choose.

    I like the new camera angle! I would guess it's less awkward for you, not having to do things upside down for our benefit. The darker tile works better for lighter colored clay, and vice versa

    Love how the camera is so much closer to the object for ideal clarity.

    Sounds good. Looks a tad dark. It did lighten up once you got to the second item. Thank you!!❤

    I love the new setup because it brings us in closer, making it easier to see the details. I prefer the white background over the marble because it’s less distracting.

    I prefer the white background as I find the grey too busy and dull. Love your tutorials.

    Thanks Samantha! Great video. I liked the new setup and loved the new marble background which I found less bright and a great contrast with the white clay.

    I thought the new setup looked great! I also liked the granite work surface with the white clay, but in general the white background would be better for most projects. Thanks for sharing!

    Sound quality is much better and I love the close up view. Also prefer white background. Thank you for all the TH-cam videos you create and all the wonderful content 😀

    Loved the effect of the ink on this stamp before you used the brush. The ink flowed naturally into the ridges. As for background i think it depends on colours used. I did prefer the white i think. Thanks for video🤗🇬🇧

    I think the marble would be good for lighter colors of clay and the white for darker colors. I do recommend having your light source coming from directly in front of you, or higher up, if possible to help with shadows created from your hands.

    The marble is very nice, but for contrast, I prefer the white. Very pretty piece withe cernit.😊

    I like the darker background. I like the contrast and can see the project clearer. I do have one suggestion. Can you put your list of clay needed for projects in the description somewhere as i have a hard time seeing them at the beginning. And as usual great work. Always enjoy your videos and always learning from you!

    Pure white can be sometimes little harsh to the eyes so the second background was really nice.
    It feels like your hands might little bit more in way with this set up but I do like it more.

    The white had lots of light adustments and shadowing during filming. the darker marble background was fresh! Good luck with your choice!!

    I like the new setup fine but I prefer the original camera angle and white tile. The white background is less distracting in my opinion. I get motion sick easy so the original camera angle was easier for me to watch. But that is just me. You cannot please everyone so however you decide to film I will still watch your videos. You are very talented and I enjoy your teaching style. Clear and concise. Thank you for all the effort you put in to making these videos so we can learn.

    The angle is very nice, so is the lighting. The GREY marble tile is a nicer than the stark white + the white clay stands out a lot better, in my humble opinion 👌🏼

  • @deboday5490
    @deboday5490 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    The angle of the new setup is good but it needs more light. I preferred the white background, although it was a beautiful piece of marble, it's just too much. Cannot say about sound, my hubby is asleep next to me so I'm watching with captions. Thanks for more tutorials!

  • @darlaboyle1074
    @darlaboyle1074 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    I like both. With the white tile, you worked with colorful clay so it stood out. With the marble tile, you worked with white clay with inks.
    I wasn't sure if it was my phone or not (I can't have a bright screen cause it hurts my eyes) but on the regular tile you previously used, white clay would almost look invisible to me. I would just make it darker.
    Which is easier for you to work on?

  • @Platinouno
    @Platinouno หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    I think it would have been easier to judge if you did the same thing on both surfaces. The white shows up beautifully on the marble tile, but not as good on the white tile. Dark won't show as well on the marble, but will on the white. Maybe use both depending on the colours your using?

  • @shellylivingston343

    I would say the lighter background. While the marble is attractive, I feel it can be distracting for video purposes.

    The camera angle seemed fine. I imagine it was easier for you to manipulate the project this way.

    The first tutorial with the white background felt like it was a bit too zoomed in for me and the light contrast felt off. I liked the 2nd setup better, but the darker marble background may not contrast well for all clay colors. Both good tutorials though. Thanks.

    I prefer the white tile, and the lighting seemed dim and fluctuated a bit. I didn't notice much difference in sound quality. Either way, , really, but I do much prefer the white tile.

    how long wax remain on piece? I mean after some time it will take off or not? isnt varnish more durable and long lasting? wax you use doesn't sells here, can I use any other soft wax? I've never use it) thank for your tutorials!

  • @carolynduryea3175
    @carolynduryea3175 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    The white shows shadows that are distracting and when working with white clay it just gets lost. the grey is easier on your eyes but the pattern is too busy. Something in a solid grey. You want your artwork to stand out not the tile. Take pieces of your Artwork in different colors to the tile store and see what shades make them standout. You may what two tile one warm colors, one for cool colors.

    I have always thought your other set-up was smarter. Very few tutorials are shot with the camera on the other side of the table. There is more chance that your head will end up in the shot with this set up. At least that's what happens in other videos.
