He'll be back on February 2023 and i can't wait for his next solo album because he said he wanted to try rock music. Love your reactions! Been waiting for this one! Baekhyun is my ultimate bias and I love how he experiments with any genre and nails it every time. He even did the Korean stage of the musical Singin’ in the Rain. He’s just so damn versatile! As for Seomoon Tak, as far as I know she is just a straight up rock singer with a decades spanning career so kinda like one of today’s Western pop stars being invited to collab with Patti Smith or something. A huge honour for our Baekhyunnie who did himself proud as expected!

I’ve only ever seen fan cam clips of Singin’ in the Rain, it was quite early in EXO’s career. But he really pulls off that old Hollywood vibe as well. Check out his duet Dream with actor/singer Suzy for a similar vibe. It’s night and day compared with this song but equally brilliant.
I knew you’d appreciate this! Baekhyun’s diversity is incredible. And she is an amazing vocalist! I love her tone. This is one of the most inspired collabs I’ve seen in a while. Completely off subject, but if I closed my eyes I’d swear the guitarist was my brother. He’s not at all interested in K-pop but I made him listen to this, and he said wow that guy plays just like me 😆
@@Killdeer25 not exclusively. Jazz, rock. It’s the style of playing overall that’s so similar but I don’t have the right words to describe it! I’m going to out myself as being incredibly old for a kpop fan, but my brother has played consistently for more than 50 years now, most of that time as a hobby, in spite of his life being incredibly busy. I have very fond memories of going to see his band play in dive bars in the 70s 😂

I'm glad you reacted to this! Before I got into kpop I assumed it was all bubble gum, but it's really just a genre meaning any pop music from Korea. While there is the lip syncing for some, there are also such amazing talents and a lot of diversity. There are more indie sounding bands as well like Onewe. Taemin is a great solo artist from the group Shinee and Mamamoo are a great girl group with amazing vocalists.
