My cousin took me to see him out of the blue one night. I’ll put Bruce right next to Pink Floyd as the best concerts I’ve ever seen. Bruce played for 3 hours straight, no opening band, no lighting/stage show. Just a man and his band getting it done. Excellent all the way around.

If you know anything about him, about the band, and about his fans, you know how much they're all devoted to him. I recall an interview with Max Weinberg (drummer) when he said that when the Boss calls, everyone drops what they're doing and goes with him. You can't buy that kind of loyalty.

Went to this tour with my dad in Perth Western Australia. Dad got diagnosed with cancer the year after and having gone to see the Boss with him (A lifelong Springsteen nut) is one of the things I'm happiest I did with him. Love you dad.

Still watching in 2023. First saw Bruce at the Montreal Forum in 84 on the original Born in the USA tour; he played past midnight so they turned the lights 0:010:01 out on him! Been to 12 more concerts since, he never gets old!

Saw The Boss live at Pinkpop (NL) in 2009. Despite the live sound being pretty shitty back then, he and his band still pulled off a brilliant live performance that really got me going!

There was a club out on the main line outside Philly. I think they primarily catered to the folk scene. It was called the Main Point if I recall correctly. Knew a guy from Philly who went to see Bruce at the club in 1973. He told me there were maybe 30 people there to see him. My times do change.

The thing with the boss is that no two concerts are ever the same. I saw him twice during his wrecking ball tour, same tour completely different shows.
@@clarepayne4992 hi,absolutely true,that's the genius of the man and his band,he blows me away every time with the variations of the concerts, and the held up boards/placards asking him to play the tunes is brilliant. Pure genius.
