      Well for a smaller mine this was full of hiding places. Lots of cool veins too. Really enjoy when you show us what the miners were going after. Man, mr M must have had a full bowl of Wheaties that morning. He was all rearing to go. Thanks Gly for another great video! You da man. See you all next week.

    Things I like on your channel;
    (1). Best video camera and lighting.
    (2). Your presentation, camera focus, movement of video camera (nice and slow) and letting us see more of everything.
    (3). Explaining and being more precise, so we learn.
    (4). Over all knowledge of what we are seeing and enjoying.
    There is much more, I would say your channel is the most enjoyable. Thanks!

The amount of care you put on these videos as well as your knowledge/enthusiasm for the places you go to is extraordinary and makes for a great watch - even for someone who has no knowledge of these things. The intro on this video was staggering; I literally have no words. I'm personally struggling with work, with school, with personal issues and mental health; mainly due to all that is going on. I am sitting at my desk in my room struggling through math homework (differential equations at age 42) and that intro was so therapeutic that I just cannot explain. Hell, all your videos are that way. I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you for all the work you put into your videos. They (and you), are truly remarkable. Mr. M ain't too bad either lol!
    Lastly......your videos should be required material for university geology courses. The bit right before 33:56 was remarkable.

      “Gly”: Thank you very much! I so long wanted to produce an intro that captured the beauty of just driving to these locations. Some of the scenery I enjoy driving out to a new location is just spectacular and I’m really happy with how well that intro turned out. It does a really good job of capturing what I now mostly take for granted on a weekly basis. Showing the world these places is just an honor and I’m so happy your enjoying it. Thank you.

    (I'm emotional over Swansea, brought forward so many memories of Tahawus N.Y. For little time i lived there. Brings back memories of our father working an iron ore mine. Love the drone footage of all these places. You have taken me back, to retouch my past. The things that a father has to do to support the family after WW2, makes me reflect on what it take to raise children to earn their respect.)

Thanks for the awesomeness that you send our way each week. Back in the mid 70's my wife and I took a trip through the west and I fell in love with the wide open places there. I did not want to go home to NY but that's where family was so I stayed here. I've been back a couple of times since to do wilderness, horseback camping in the Wyoming mountains, no guide just me. friends and horses. It just gets into my soul how much I love the wildness that's still there. I would move out west in a heart beat but my wife is too much of a home body. It kills me to stay here with crowding and everything else that living in the suburbs of a huge city brings. I love that you bring this glimpse of the west's beauty to us. Thank you, Gly.
    The timbering in places there was pretty ummm impressive. Yup Mr. M's clangers have for sure gone to brass! That was a pretty shaky ladder. I'm glad you guys went down there though, cool stuff down there. I enjoyed the Silence Of The Lambs reference lol. Thanks, Gly. Stay safe.

    Another great video, loved the quartz & flow stone!!
    Couple of clarifications - When you say "flow-stone", it is important that the viewers know that this was not molten, as in lava, as in melted rock flowing. Flow-stone is created by water which is saturated with dissolved minerals, most often calcium carbonate. As the mineral laden water flows over the wall of an underground void, where there is air, the water begins to evaporate which causes some of the dissolved mineral to precipitate out of the solution (the mineral gets un-disolved) and it sticks to the rock that the water flows over. This process takes a lot of time, something like 100 years per inch of thickness (rate widely varies depending upon the evaporation rate & % dissolved mineral). The composition of the minerals vary over time, so the layers of deposited rock change color. That is why the broken flow-stone your video pointed out has what looks like the rings you would see on a tree stump. .
    Another thing, and I am being "that guy" when I mention this, but the word "Karst" is not a two syllable word. Gly, you are saying something like Kar-est. Karst is just one syllable, as in "arse" with a K in front and a T at the end (ha ha, yeah, I know you probably think I am being the arse here!).
    Keep up the good work!
    PS: Great aerial footage at he beginning, absolutely stunning.
    PPS: As always, the thing that differentiates your TH-cam videos is your great voice and the slow meticulous video panning and care you take to keep the viewer spatially oriented, plus your great lighting. I get really tired of other "exploring" channels that flit the camera around and around all with crappy lighting - makes me dizzy.
    PPS: Mr. M. is a great addition to your videos. I like the snide remarks you exchange. I had a real belly laugh for that part of the video where Mr. M had the camera pointed right at his face and the fun dialog you two interchanged was great.
