I've mounted the dual compressor under the bonnet of my Prado where the auxiliary battery used to sit and mounted the tank between the rear fuel tank and rear bar. I can switch the compressor on while I'm driving to fill the air tank and then use the blow gun to remove the dust around the rear door and on the roof top tent. It is a real winner and you've made a good choice Ed.

thanks Ed! well explained, may i request that you do a video explaining about inflating or deflating tyres, which terrain are you supposed to inflate or deflate, i dont own a 4x4 now maybe someday i will, your reviews inspires me to get one.

I fitted the single piston ARB compressor in my Fortuner. Its been now about 5 years in the engine bay heat, dust and mud and still going strong. I did a test on the spare wheel. Removed the valve core and completely deflated the tire. From 0 - 1 bar took 01:55.00 1 - 2 bar, took 02:00:00, and 2 - 3 bar took 02:05:00 minutes. Having it on board means no struggling with connections and bags that have to be carried around. Plus side if it's mounted on board is that if you fit the ARB airlockers, you can run it of that compressor. Love the little machine to bits.

This digital inflater/deflater works very nice. Just watch the batteries when getting old and spills acid, it will damage the unit irreparable. Learned the hard way. Luckily ARB has swapped it under warranty. I do remove the batteries between trips since then

I think it’s definitely worth the price. Most other compressors are not multipurpose and don’t have the power that this has, you can even run power tools with this item. Just to clarify that this unit was not given to me for free. Yes it’s very expensive I agree but worth it in my opinion. Thanks for the constant support Lungelo, you’re a legend!
