This is still happening today and happened to me a few years ago in a art university. Some white kid copied my idea. I complained and was told not to worry about it and to keep pushing forward. In the end that person was given an award for what I created. I was extremely pissed and deflated. Then it happened again so I stopped presenting my new ideas to the class which made them hated me more. It was an extremely stressful and uncomfortable environment. I have three invention right now that I am afraid to market because of the past. America is so much more of a great nation than what people hear about. When I worked at one job, suggestion boxes were placed in several areas. I had some ideas that I kept to myself because I believed they would become stolen.

I created multiple social services programs for an agency. Now I wasn't seeking a patent but respect and recognition. The programs were highly successful and was modeled and copied by agencies all over. However, when it came time for the convention for agencies all over the country to do presentations. The airplane left me behind. I was replaced with a white face on my programs that I created. I implemented and ran the programs with 95% attendance. Changed many lives. The more successful I was, the more contempt they had for me.

Blacks have been under slavery for millennia, African tribes would continously go to war with one another, and the losing side was enslaved by the winning tribe and brought back home to work as slaves for the rest of their natural lives. Once the Arab conquest and spread of islam started in Northern African in the 7-8th century AD, they already found thriving African slave market and happily made use of it, buying up African slaves by the thousands and continueing the African slave trade for another 10+ centuries. In fact the Arabs bought up and shipped out over 5 million more Africans slaves than all of the Europeans combined did. But while the Africans themselves were the ones who started the African cultural tradition of enslavement, and the Arabs started the trans-African slave trade, it was the Europeans who abolished it, in the face of great African and Arab anger, because the Africans weren't happy to see the massively profitable trade in their own enslaved peoples come to a halt, and the Arabs weren't too happy about losing access to Africa's vast slave markets. Since the end of the 17th century and for more than a century thereafter, the sight of an European merchant or especially naval ship was a dream come true to the African slave, because it meant freedom brought by the most just people. There are still pictures from the early 1800's where European naval ships picked up fled African slaves and freed them from their iron shackles, and often even sending a unit of marines unto shore to hunt the merciless African or Arab slave owner. Being a child of both white and black parents, I’ve experienced a lot of racism and hatred because of something I couldn’t control. Today I’ve had to push forward on my own, because family has been broken by people who are white and yet the woman that I chose to marry was white so I often wonder what is the point of continuing to try and push forward when the very thing that would bring you stability has been torn away. My son was taken away by white people because of slavery system that exist today and so I wonder again and again and again what’s the profit in it and why should I bother to try. Not only have ID has been stolen by Caucasian people from the people who are black as a cold, but families are still being broken by certain elements of the Caucasian people. I treat all people with respect every age, size and description and yet I still feel like an outcast within the group because most of the groups are Caucasian so they look at me and put labels on me when their own houses are in disarray and that’s been my experience For more than 20 years!

When i worked in an auto plant, a black worker invented a machine tha was used on the assembly line to install two parts at a time at a faster speed. After he retired, the machine he built was replaced with an updated version that did the same thing. Everyone around the plant. Including the foremen knew he invented. Don't know if he was ever paid for it or had it patented.

Saying that Fredrick Jones invented the snowmobile because at one point he strapped skis to a fanboat, a machine that didn't work, is ridiculous. I am an inventor and creator. Due to my struggles in this system which works against our efforts to progress not only ourselves but humanity. I burned my notes, graphs, schematics and sketches for things that would have significantly benefited humanity possibly more than I'll ever know. The thing is my creativity has gone into over drive now. I can't go a day without getting hit with an idea or ideas. The things I was working on at that time I couldn't let fall into the wrong hands. Those hands being the same type individuals who stole ideas from these inventors.

This is still happening today and happened to me a few years ago in a art university. Some white kid copied my idea. I complained and was told not to worry about it and to keep pushing forward. In the end that person was given an award for what I created. I was extremely pissed and deflated. Then it happened again so I stopped presenting my new ideas to the class which made them hated me more. It was an extremely stressful and uncomfortable environment. I have three invention right now that I am afraid to market because of the past. America is so much more of a great nation than what people hear about. I created multiple social services programs for an agency. Now I wasn't seeking a patent but respect and recognition. The programs were highly successful and was modeled and copied by agencies all over. However, when it came time for the convention for agencies all over the country to do presentations. The airplane left me behind. I was replaced with a white face on my programs that I created. I implemented and ran the programs with 95% attendance. Changed many lives. The more successful I was, the more contempt they had for me.

I’ve learned a lot I used to work at the patent and trademark for 18 years I work at the O Patton office in Crystal city then they build a new one but the reason for me, saying this the old patent office, they had a huge wall of black inventors. Then when they made the new patent office, they didn’t put the black inventors wall up anymore. I didn’t see it and furthermore, when it was Black History Month, they put a fraction of the black inventors up.

In fact the Arabs bought up and shipped out over 5 million more Africans slaves than all of the Europeans combined did. But while the Africans themselves were the ones who started the African cultural tradition of enslavement, and the Arabs started the trans-African slave trade, it was the Europeans who abolished it, in the face of great African and Arab anger, because the Africans weren't happy to see the massively profitable trade in their own enslaved peoples come to a halt, and the Arabs weren't too happy about losing access to Africa's vast slave markets. Since the end of the 17th century and for more than a century thereafter, the sight of an European merchant or especially naval ship was a dream come true to the African slave, because it meant freedom brought by the most just people. There are still pictures from the early 1800's where European naval ships picked up fled African slaves and freed them from their iron shackles, and often even sending a unit of marines unto shore to hunt the merciless African or Arab slave owner. It is so very heart wrenching, heartbreaking and disgusting, how humans can treat other humans etc. just wondering if there’s a way that some of these inventors families and or relatives, could seek some sort of compensation from the big Giants that profited and are still profiting today from their inventions! Whether it be wealthy families, or large corporations or anywhere in between. These things are so wrong!!! Being a child of both white and black parents, I’ve experienced a lot of racism and hatred because of something I couldn’t control.
Today I’ve had to push forward on my own, because family has been broken by people who are white and yet the woman that I chose to marry was white so I often wonder what is the point of continuing to try and push forward when the very thing that would bring you stability has been torn away.
My son was taken away by white people because of slavery system that exist today and so I wonder again and again and again what’s the profit in it and why should I bother to try.
Not only have ID has been stolen by Caucasian people from the people who are black as a cold, but families are still being broken by certain elements of the Caucasian people.
I treat all people with respect every age, size and description and yet I still feel like an outcast within the group because most of the groups are Caucasian so they look at me and put labels on me when their own houses are in disarray and that’s been my experience For more than 20 years!

When i worked in an auto plant, a black worker invented a machine tha was used on the assembly line to install two parts at a time at a faster speed. After he retired, the machine he built was replaced with an updated version that did the same thing. Everyone around the plant. Including the foremen knew he invented. Don't know if he was ever paid for it or had it patented.

I am an inventor and creator. Due to my struggles in this system which works against our efforts to progress not only ourselves but humanity. I burned my notes, graphs, schematics and sketches for things that would have significantly benefited humanity possibly more than I'll ever know. The thing is my creativity has gone into over drive now. I can't go a day without getting hit with an idea or ideas. The things I was working on at that time I couldn't let fall into the wrong hands. Those hands being the same type individuals who stole ideas from these inventors.
