Well if you look closely you will see these dancers have a Strong Ballet foundation. Watch their transitions from fourth to third. The port du bras and the fluidity of movement from pi que to attitude. The fact that the music is lyrical should not denigrate the dance. Ballet and jazz moves are use in many modes of dance as well as modern. We must not assume that because a piece will be considered modern, jazz, or lyrical, the art form will be lesser than classical. Speaking for myself, I wasn't allowed to take anything else until I master classical dance, first and foremost of which was ballet.
This is so inspiring I’m 14 and I do hip hop but when I saw you guys I started doing contemporary dancing. I feel like I’m in another world. I learned this dance and it feels so much better to just calm down with this dance or any of your dances after a long day or after doing hip hop thank you so much for getting me to do something else and thanks for posting 💕❣️💕❣️
