Amazing work as always etho ive also been playing around with adding more dinongates to my builds and thi satisfies that niche perfectly nothing like being able to pull your dino inside the base and feel safe great work !
Thank you for giving me the idea to build this. I can’t wait to get it started. Spent the majority of yesterday gathering materials so today is build day I can’t wait to see it built for myself.
just finished building this and it's amazing, it seemed pretty expensive at first but I actually got all the materials with tons of leftover materials too pretty quickly, super cool base
I've always built a base workshop similar to this but you added just enough to make it better. Update I built this but made it 1 foundation bigger and it fits the big forge plus everything else while still having room for dinos that aren't huge. This has easily become my fave base ever. waiting to see if my 3rd floor fits the replicator now that its a lil taller.
Just started on aberration and built what I thought was a nice base. Now I see this video and I'm tearing it down in favour of this! If you could I'd love to see you do an add-on part 2 of this build where you include an industrial forge spot. It definitely has potential to be a compact base to take you quite far
Glad I could help! Not sure if I will expand it but I suppose you could either add more layers and make it taller, fit the forge inside in the middle but that would take away space for dinos or build a second one attached to the side or something
Sometimes I have more of a plan based on some googling of actual buildings or concept arts etc but other times I just wing it. This one was wing it and try to get something small you could make day 1 or at least very early on
Interesting to see a base titled 'All-in-One Starter Base.' VERY familiar-drawing a lot of inspiration from another well-known creators ARK builds. I could name a few, the beach build you made was a direct copy of LolsAtLances, the stables a direct copy of an Aaron Longstaff build, this title alone is sus as well for similar reasons, the Hangar was taken from a youtuber I watched a livestream of. I've seen you do build tutorials after someone on the ARK discord has posted something first of it. Getting inspiration from others is great but giving credit where it’s due goes a long way in this community, as originality and respect for other creators are always appreciated. It’s becoming noticeable that many of your builds resemble versions of others’ work - . If you’re inspired by another creator, acknowledging them not only shows respect but also builds trust within the community. Inspiration is fine, copying is different. I hope you read this and think about what you do going forward differently and that you don't delete this comment.
I'm not sure if I should bother replying since you're most likely not going to believe me but hey here we go anyway. - All-in-One base yeah totally a name/title I saw my buddy Lance use, and figured that maybe I should try one but more focused on day 1/early game ark since a lot of my builds are way more complicated. - As for copying that is definitely not the case, at least not intentional on my part. The builds I do are either winging it (usually live on stream) or based on things from movies, series, concept art or just real life references from google. Do I have a beach hut, yeah, google tiki huts and find your inspiration there. Does Lance have one? Probably it's quite a popular early game style to go for. - Not sure which stables you're refering to, my first one was just me fiddling around with the new game and my western one was just one based on again google searching western towns etc Same with the hangar, that was just build live on stream trying to get a hangar type shape built. - Do I have builds inspired by other Ark creators? Yeah, especially in my first few months on Ark/ASA with my modern builds/A-frames the first one I did was based on a Kiitarie design and credited as such. But most of my inspiration comes from outside of ark, or inspired by building things in survival with my friends For the rest I consume almost no Ark content and especially no build contentto not to get influenced too much, do I sometimes get inspired to build after seeing screenshots on discord sure, but to say I'm copying people is taking it a bit far. But I appreciate you looking out for others, if I do get inspired anytime in the future by someone's build I'll be sure to give them credit :)
