Dude honestly the street glide is perfect for a country ride with some country music so my choose of course would be the street glider an the full gray black is nice to
Bought a 2002 road glide new when nobody wanted them , road it until 2015 with 140 thou on it then I got hit while stopped, bike was totaled , in 2017 bought a street glide , ya theirs a difference, the road glide is more planted in twistiest with the fairing weight over the front end. Bought the street glide due to a great deal 5000 off, it’s different but. Fine machine one I got rid of those terrible rear shocks & put heavier oil in the forks.
Besides the obvious, there are two major differences between the street glide and road glide. Wind and Vibration. The street glide is better for both. Do not let anyone fool you with the road glide cuts through the wind better. Thats stupid. The street glides fairing is closer and it only takes slightly higher windscreen to get the wind up over you. The street glide also covers the wind from your hands. The road glide doesn’t cover the wind on your hands, and you can get higher windscreen to get your head out of the wind, but will you like the way that it looks. Some don’t. For vibration, the street glide has the fairing attached to the bars, and rhe vibration from the engine does not make it to the bars, the weight of the fairing absorbs all of it. The road glide bars are not attached to anything and the engine vibrations do make there way to the bars. It’s not bad, it’s just not rock solid smooth like the street glide. The wind issue is not a problem at 80 or below. Push 100 and maybe. I purchased a 2024 Road Glide not fully realizing all that I wrote above. Now I know. I test road a Road Glide for a few miles, but I rented a street glide and rode it 250 miles. I didn’t like the fairing being close. I was more comfortable in the cockpit of the road glide. I’ve almost solved the small vibration issue and working on a new screen. But If I buy another Harley, (which I won’t) it will be a Street Glide.
I ride a Dyna with a Memphis Shades Road Warrior fairing. I will be upgrading, a couple years from now, and will have to make the SG/RG choice. One factor I consider - Who knows the most about fairing? Sportbike manufacturers! Do they mount em to the forks? Exactly!
Road glide 💯 I'm 6'4" 230 .. I've had both and will never go back to a SG. RG is a much better ride . Lighter on the bars . Less buffeting in the Highway overall much easier to maneuver.
Longer state to state riding go with the batwing. Will protect you better in rain and weather. Although some say high winds the road glide is better really I can’t tell the difference but when it comes to rain the batwing is better. Closer to you and you can tuck up in the windshield. Road glide handles better because it has less weight on the forks as the batwing is connected to the forks.
DEFINTLY THE STREET GLIDE FOR ME. I personally do not like the frame mounted fairing, as it messes with my head as to weather my front wheel is straight or not when stopping. The batwing fairing is also better at deflecting the wind off the rider, whereas the shark nose you sit up above the fairing a bit more and the wind can still hit you in the chest. The batwing also is better at protecting the hands from cold wind or debris than the shark nose. BUT, the shark nose is better at cutting THROUGH the wind at high speeds. The batwing fairing DOES impart a VERY TINY amount of movement into the handlebars, but only when going in excess of 80Mph or greater and NOT enough to really bother anyone and is NOT enough of a reason not to buy one. Also, on the street glide its easier to reach the infotainment center, as it sits closer to the rider. Whereas on the road glide you have to actually lean forward JUST A BIT to be able to reach it. Which is something to keep in mind for shorter riders. Other than that, both bikes are practically identical.
I bought my road glide and a guy asked me why I would want a bike that the headlight doesn’t turn when you turn the handlebars. I said your car doesn’t either. He had no reply
Sick, you just made it easy for me to understand 👏🏽

Country music sucks!
Rock all day

I'll take both have to go with the street guide 😊
Street glide was my pick. I love the smooth ride and my hands are covered especially the cold.
That street glide's color is my favorite from now on
Roadglide for style, streetglide for class, i love both
You got it backwards my friend.
@thanosetsitty1896 ahh yeah, my bad my guy🤣🙏
Definitely The Road glide for me.
Street glide wins.
Street Glide all the way.
I'm given to understand that the Road Glide is better suited to taller riders. Is that not so? Sincere question.
Same seat and controls for the most part. If you're really tall get a tall boy seat and it gives you a few more inches of leg and arm room
Yeah I’m 5 7 I was really close to getting a street glide
You're absolutely correct.
But it all depends on what feels good to you.
Road glide 💯 I'm 6'4" 230 ..

Just traded 23 SG for a 24 RG ,bat wing is better in the wind , RG better slower handling

You got them backwards
Street glide all day!! No gap!!!
The Road Glide handles the wind better than the Street Glide, but the Street Glide is a icon and has been around for ever.
Should had made the fairing switchable 😂

Well shit. Still unsure. 😐
Road Glide ST for me, hopefully later next year.
Are you going to ride on the street or road ?
Road glide is more practical but street glide looks soooo much better.
Why you say more practical? Just curious...
Street glide ❤
street for me
Street glide!
street glide looks more iconic
street glide 🤯
Street all the wayyyyy
😊
he cant choose but I can.. can I have the Roadglide while he is making up his mind please?
I said please.. 😅🤣😂
Road glide ❤
The roadglide has a Space for a smartphone in the Front. The street glide Not. And I would say that the street glide gives u a better Wind Protection.
Easy choice. Neither.
Get a Roadmaster or Pursuit. ✌️
Both made in Tiawan now.
Idk I can see some difference in design from way over here
I bought my road glide and a guy asked me why I would want a bike that the headlight doesn’t turn when you turn the handlebars. I said your car doesn’t either. He had no reply
SG for me all day I Can’t do the Shark Nose I have tried to like but I can so I will keep my SG
Wow i didnt know that 🤣🤦🏻♂️
Road glide all day for me
Road glide 100%
I’ll take the roadglide less buffeting and a better look
Get a road glide, best Harley
The street glide is iconic and doesn't have that stupid looking sharknose fairing. This isn't even a delimma for me.
Road Glide
Not to mention road glide has a better resale value
And this is why Harley sales are plummeting. Nothing new, nothing intriguing, and price points are insane
I think it'd be unnatural having fairing facing straight in corners instead of turning with the forks lMO
Street glide looks better
SG
I have the street glide
The street glide front is cooler.. but ths road glide steers way smoother and lighter..
That was a terrible explination. Seek further info before making your purchase. Much more than just styling.
They both suck and overpriced and underpowered
Obviously you’ve never ridden one. NOONE who has ridden a glide in a stock 114 would suggest it’s underpowered.
@@guins99Nobody who has ridden a 103 would say it's underpowered either. 😮
What is the name of the street-glide’s color?
that is gunship grey. i think only offered on the 2022 model
Nice.cool road glide from Dave m glendale az reply.back thanks💯💯💯💯💯👍👍👍👍
