How I Fixed my Noisy MP40

My MP40 was making an obnoxious noise and here is how I fixed it. Not saying this will be the fix for yours but definitely something worth trying before buying a new one!

Was the noise coming from the wet side or the dry side?

I’m this particular case it was the wet. I’ve also had noises on the dry side and I would say that is more common. In that case it’s likely the bearings. Always always always contact Echotech customer service first before trying to fix anything yourself. They have fixed pumps for me in the past for a 1/4 of the cost of buying a new one.
