I am so glad you guys watched Qala. After Bulbbul this is another fantastic collab of Anvita Dutt and Tripti Dimri which has a marvellous cinematography to boast of, backed by a very feministic script. I am yet to watch Kamli because it's not yet available on OTT in India but I am expecting it to match Qala in terms of picturesque shots and a strong plot.
Cleanslate deserves all love for giving platform to good artists and invest in them heavily.
Qala and dobara both the movies are fantastic must watch👍👍.....i want to recomend another movie Tara vs bilal ...its a heartwarming romantic movie ..hope Amna and Hasan will love it too.

To satiate Amna´s intrigue on how there are 40,000 ways to watch Kaleidoscope, it is estimated by 8 factorial i.e. 8 x 7 x 6 x 5 x 4 x 3 x 2 x 1 = 40,320, the logic being if you watch for instance Yellow as the first episode, there are 7 different possibilities for the second episode, 6 possibilities for the 3rd episode and so on ;)
Also, thanks a lot for reviewing Qala! It has to be one of the best movies to come out of India in the last year and unarguably the best movie album of the decade. The music is soulful and the lyrics telling!
Qala is one of the best movie I have watched in recent years, it shows flaws in parenting where a child struggles hard to get attention of her mother . She ends up making wrong choices and later in life she sufferers from depression.
Dobara is great movie which will keep you hooked to screen. Great direction and story.

I would like to add in Qala .. Babil’s character seems to be inspired by Master Madan (1930/40’s)who died at the age of 15 .
People who liked Bulbul will enjoy this masterpiece.

Qala was like a beautiful, vintage chocolate box. You admire the cover immensely for starters, then slowly, pick out one chocolate upon another. And indulge in the sweetness and the delicacy of each delciously divine confectionary. Each invigorates and titalates your palate in a different way.
You should have discussed Wednesday also..it was the biggest sunccess of the year.. it changed the teenage sense of style including my teenage daughters . I wanted your take on why you think it was such a huge successs.
I don’t remember the episode but I myself watched the series upon amna’ recommendation .
I feel Wednesday is overrated the hype of the show was so big because of Tik Tok on the other hand creative masterpiece like 1899 got cancelled. it had over 79.27 million hours of viewership because it wasn’t trending on social media it got cancelled 😞
Kaleidoscope is a good one-time binge watch, I think watching in chronological order won't be that fun, random and white at the end is the way to go!
Qala was artistic but like too traumatizing
Emily in Paris is becoming more of a high school teen drama, nothing except the costumes held my attention

Would strongly recommend watching "Trial by Fire". One of the finest series from Netflix India recently with excellent performances from the lead and supporting cast

Hassan I watched just as you did... I followed what Netflix offered ...somewhere in between i decide to swap few episodes.....green and yellow were good episodes ......few like blue n red lacked punk.....not a masterpiece but yeah like u said did manage to capture my attention !!
Absolutely loved Qala, a haunting story with stunning performances and a beautiful soundtrack. It definitely stays with you. Enjoyed Dobaara too although I found it quite predictable.
Would to love to know your thoughts on See 2019 drama, The Recruit and Echo 3.

Waiting for Haute Bites as this week has been quite entertaining.
I really love Amna’s comment that in Qala , the landscape is another character. It was so beautiful that it was simple mesmerising. Excellent movie but I wish the end was a bit happy.
I also saw bulbul and both movies leave a mark on the viewer.

Qala: Since it is an art movie, not everyone will enjoy it. Despite being a good movie, I had a hard time finishing it in one sitting. And I have to say that I was surprised by the climax.
EIP: It's entertaining to watch, but not as much as the previous two seasons. Regardless, I had a good time binge-watching it.
Kaleidoscope: If you have seen many heist movies and series, don't expect much from this one; it is just mediocre. Although I have to admire the production of this series, the way it is shot, and the ability to watch it in any order you want.
I was hoping for a review of Wednesday, which I really enjoyed watching. This is the only series I've given two thumbs up to in the past two months.

About kaleidoscope: to find all possible combinations we find factorial (!) of that number. 8! =40320 so yes more than 40000 ways.
I had started watching Qala but it couldn't hold my attention for more than 10 mins and I had to close it. I was looking forward to Doctor G's review but you guys didn't feature it. Maybe next time. I thoroughly enjoyed MOMD. Will check out Dobara. Thank you

Mirage is available on Netflix here in UK ..watched it right after 2bara and it is a lot better than the Indian version ...Money Heist's prof is in a main role in Mirage

Kaleidoscope is good one time watch series. I watched it in random order starting from 6 months before heist to white episode. So, it was fun. Every episode brings something new.

Signal is a K drama Which was released in 2016. The 2 main leads who were cop in 2 different time zones were able to connect through the walkie Talkie of the senior male lead of 1980s. I find the plot of Do Baara overlapping with signal.

Please watch “Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hai” Malayalam movie. The way it shows domestic abuse and how one can get out of that very very good. Since Hasaan and Aamna both have strong views about the slaps on screen and the way toxicity is shown. I am sure they will like this movie

The betrayal, the revenge… the heist, the entire process of getting in? Pura time while I was watching it end walay episodes it kept reminding me of that movie. Aisa lag raha tha k its Happy New Year in a more sophisticated way.
Monica Oh My Darling has at least 2 dozen Easter Eggs. People who grew up watching Hindi Films might have caught upon that. Hat Tips to Sholay, Haider, Salim Javed, Abbas Mastan and many other movies. In fact cameos by Characters of Vasan Bala's previous film MKDNH is a chef's kiss.

the thing that she ate her brother is right according to the medical perspective as well its called Twin-Twin transfuion syndrome TTTS and it happens in twin pregnancy and its quite serious.. not only one but both the babies can die in this situation as there is unequal supply of blood to babies one getting more and take away the share from other and one grows abnormally large and other small...!
