Everybody thinks we small engine mechanics are the sling blade type, nope someone that can think outside of the box..... Mower, that takes intelligence, great job on the tow vehicle.
I watch your videos for 3 reasons: education, comedy and your innovation 💡. Trust me, I have yet to find one of your videos boring. Who would ever think watching mower videos could be entertaining and fun to watch... keep up the great work 👍.
I absolutely died laughing when Taryl sang his song "Satistraction". This tow vehicle is great idea. Keep up the great work and stay safe during these crazy times in our nation. GOD Bless. Seth
Taryl, you`re are a talented repair small engine mechanic to build such a useful tow motor for use around the shop. Keep up the great videos, thanks again.
Trick I learned for making holes bigger is use your hole saw. You can find a hole saw close to the existing diameter and then find the hole saw you want put both on your spindle and put in drill. The small will keep the big hole saw from walking since you don't have a pilot bit to steady it. Hope that makes sense 🤣
I made me a mini truck from an old lesco commercial zero turn mower. Removed the junk engine and deck. Ran the Hydros off of a 5.5hp predator engine, mounted a tow behind trailer on the frame above the engine for the bed, added a RV hitch for pulling trailers around. Fabricated a sun shade out of a bed frame and some old gas pump siding from our local Shell station. Made a useful counterweight on the front that can push and pull materials at different heights using the deck height adjuster. I need to put tractor knobby tires on the rear - water weighted. Made an extended runtime gas tank out of a gas can. I may upgrade the engine later for more power but it can reach 6 mph on flat ground with the predator engine. Wish I could share some pictures. You inspire me Taryl. Thank you.
Hey Taryl, you can add a second camera to that monitor on the back. There are two inputs on the monitor one that takes priority over the other. You can put a saftey switch behind the gear shifter that would power the rear camera when you go in reverse. That way the camera would normally be on the front hitch and then auto switch to the rear when you shift into reverse 😎
Glad to see someone on TH-cam actually using proper face protection while using a grinder. I’ve been in the welding/fab industry for about 10 years now and I’m amazed at how many supposedly pro fabricators show a complete lack of respect for safety on TH-cam when they make videos. The most shocking is when they use a .045 cutoff disc on a grinder.... no guard on the grinder, no face shield and often times not even a pair of safety glasses. When those discs come apart at 18,000 rpm, that can punch holes through thin steel. I’m not sure why people think their eyes are made of some sort of indestructible material.
Your years of experience shine through with everything you touch including the custom fabrication. Great work as always, your twist of fun comedy keeps the videos fun to watch 😉👍
That’s going to save you a lot of time and headache. Great job. My dad did stuff like this but not to that extent. I wish he was still alive to show him this video. He would have loved it.
I wish the jerks that keep giving thumbs down would go somewhere else!!!! If you don't like Taryl why do you watch? Do you watch or do you automatically just give the thumbs down?! Troll somewhere else!!! We are TOTALLY pro Taryl, Jr, Slippers, Ronnie, Donnie and the rest of the crew!!! Guys you are awesome, ignore, block or delete the jerks! We've got your back......and there's your breakfast, snack, dinner (or lunch) another snack and dinner, or if you're from Tennessee like me it's supper!!! Thanks for all you do!!!
Taryl, you have "out done" yourself on this one! Ha! I laughed out loud when you did the bit with the clown suit it was truly the "icing on the cake". I feel you now need to add a couple of "needed" pieces of equipment to finish Mow Tow off ~ some "chucker pipes" on the engine, some "dingle balls" around the canopy edge, and a set of "naked chick" silhouette mud flaps. After all you can't be wearing the clown suit when you are using Mow Tow is would be dangerous! Keep 'em coming.....
Man you are something else taryl . you have giving so much of your self, love watching your videos keeps me wanting and wanting more and more cant get enough keeps me up a ll night. Thanks again god bless you.....
Mount the up and down switch to the steering column and throw some safety yellow paint on the whole thing to give it longevity out in the elements, maybe some red racing stripes and call it a done deal.
I think that you did a great job on bulding it. As I would say it a working project. You will make changes as you need. But it works great. I love it. And I love your song also.
You could have also used Rim Guard (beet juice) for ballast in the tires. About 11lb's per gallon. More expensive than washer fluid, but non toxic and non corrosive.
i have a suggestion for you. make a control panel near the steering for the lift so you don't have to pretty much stand up to hit it when the pickup forks and all the way down
Hey Taryl... the absolute best fluid to put in your tires that will give you two benefits is SLIME .... 1st the wieght 2nd won't ever have a flat 3rd won't freeze 4th won't rust or corrode your rims ;-) I use it in my wheels all the time plus I've had it in my truck tires (32") for several years now without a problem. Makes the best balancer ever too. ;-)
Put a ratcheting tie down strap around the outside of the tire, while you're cranking it down the sides or bead of the tire will move closer to the seat on the rim. Then there's the starter fluid or gas trick to seat tires.
When you have welded all them accessories to your tractor you may have to fit a bigger engine/motor for it to move, hur hur hur hur! Greetings from Australia.
Only mod I would do is to move the up&down switch to the handlebars, and perhaps add some lights for those dark winter mornings and dark corners. Cool little high traction tractor.
When Taryl was pushing Elk Skins around wearing that Clown costume with the Clown music in the background, was the funniest thing I've seen in a long time. I almost LOST MY DINNER!!! LOL! Love this channel!
I would extend the gear shifter so you didn’t have to bend forward to change gears. I would also put the raise and lower toggle switch in the other handle like the horn button
Since having problems with my mower (electrical) and seeing how to fix it via your channel I'm hooked but please please please tell me where I can get a set of teeth like yours......regards
This reminds me of "The Three Investigators," Jupiter Jones, Pete Crenshaw, and Bob Andrews. Their headquarters is at Jupiter's uncle's junkyard and they're always building stuff out of the junk that comes in or just looking around the piles. "Don't throw that away! It might come in handy some day . . . 40 years from now . . . but still."
Instead of lift bars, use mow tow wheel dollies for the mowers with all flat tires! 2 Dollies in front or back and pick up the other end! Like the garage dollies for cars but bigger wheels.
Watched and enjoyed this series about Mow Tow. When you were rigging up the camera my gut told me it probably would be a PIA. What came to my mind was a convex mirror like you see on School Buses and at the rear of delivery trucks. Just search “Convex Hood Mount Mirror” at your favorite store (ebay) and you’ll see what I’m talking about. I’ve got a feeling that $20 camera won’t last long. The mirror would be more old school and low tech. Just a thought. There’s your dinner.
Taryl. I have a 76 yazoo 72 inch cut and its not nice on the hills. Was wondering if you had any recommendations on added some add statistraction. Lol. Can you show or maybe how you mounted the other 2 tires on the rear
Tarrel this mow tow deserves to live indoors in your new addition out of the weather. So if you take this idea PAINT IT PLEASE!!!!!!!!!! Best Regards Fred Thomas
LOVE the clown outfit, gravel burnouts, and song!....You are NUTS, but PLEASE don't change!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!......GREAT WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I always put inner tubes filled with calcium chloride solution in my tractor tires for weight. The loaded tubes plus iron wheel weights doubled the weight of the 23/10.50/12 agricultural tires on my John Deere GX325 garden tractor. I don't even need chains anymore for moving snow. Another suggestion is to get a little ratchet strap to keep on it. That way you can tie the steering wheel on the unit you're towing from rear straight so the tractor isn't flopping around on you.
Something I am in the process of making is a self powered Gantry made from a purchased gantry and a couple of Toro 3100 mowers that I purchased for a good deal. I have one of them stripped down. Is this a build that other's might want to watch ? Should I film the build ?
Hi I enjoyed the video very much. Maybe for the winter you could rig a snow plow blade on the mow tow . Maybe even a snow blower mounted up front could be useful. These are just ideas I had . I hope they're useful to you.

Air compressor!!!! you need an on board air compressor, and a cooler, yeah, a cooler ........
It’s amazing how far Taryl went from 2 years ago to today, wow that’s awesome, I am proud of Taryl for working hard and coming this far!
Everybody thinks we small engine mechanics are the sling blade type, nope someone that can think outside of the box..... Mower, that takes intelligence, great job on the tow vehicle.

This is proof of good old American ingenuity thanks for the dinner
Taryl you're a mad genius love you guys videos learn alot from them so thanks alot.
Love Mow Tow and I probably laughed more on this video than any of the other ones you have made. Keep them coming Taryl.
MowTow is coming along nicely. Looks like it will serve you well.
Best entertainment & education on the interscreen. Bar none. Great Job Taryl. If you are willing to work, you can achieve anything.
It's you fault he charged you for canopy YOU trained him to be a business man! Great video☺

Nice job Taryl!! The singing and the horn put this episode over the top! Keep up the good work!
Pretty nice ! I see a snow plow attachment coming for MowTow ??? Necessity is the mother of inventions !☺☺☺

Yep, suggest move the controls to the steering handbell dars so you don’t have to reach forward to the bash doard.
That’s going to save you a lot of time and headache. Great job. My dad did stuff like this but not to that extent. I wish he was still alive to show him this video. He would have loved it.

Good stuff, Taryl! It's so much fun building things and, come to find out, watching others do it too.
That is a sweet machine!
Mow-Tow is some serious BADASSERY!!
Them "cradles for the tires, like on a tow truck...." them are called Spoons & the other 1s are called L-Arms....
Taryl, you have "out done" yourself on this one! Ha! I laughed out loud when you did the bit with the clown suit it was truly the "icing on the cake". Thank you for some sanity during the covid crisis !
I absolutely love watching your videos. I binge watch them pretty much all day everyday. You have taught me a lot thank you keep it up.
Love the 3 rear wheels. That’s awesome looking
Nothing is free in this world today but you make it a lot cheaper. Love the genius build. A+
Have you tried lifting and moving a zero turn? It's actually a very useful shop tool that you've built. Nice job guys.
Man you are something else taryl . you have giving so much of your self, love watching your videos keeps me wanting and wanting more and more cant get enough keeps me up a ll night. Thanks again god bless you.....
Very good job Taryl on your mow tow it's going to be very handy around the yard.
Mount the up and down switch to the steering column and throw some safety yellow paint on the whole thing to give it longevity out in the elements, maybe some red racing stripes and call it a done deal.
Yeah, having to lean for that all the time is going to get old... but the shifter is up there, too. hmmm
Looks like something you could ride in the 2020 August Podunk Parade, if there was going to be one.
5:00 you can go to an ag supplier and get some rim guard. Doesn’t corrode rims, using in farm tractors.
You Should add so Yellow and White flashing lights to it, Love it thanks for the video...
Put inter tubes in to hold the washer fluid in the tires and you won't erode the rims . This is what farmers do .
Hey Taryl, don't forget a cup holder. That's one heck of a mower hauler. Maybe a patent is something to consider
Love the song! Satistraction!
Dinner was delicious as usual!!! Got my fill!!!!!
i have a suggestion for you. make a control panel near the steering for the lift so you don't have to pretty much stand up to hit it when the pickup forks and all the way down
Love those older magnum opposed engines. They are rock solid
I learn ever time I watch. Great job
That Taryl Tractor reminds me of that old British TV show 'Junkyard Wars.' I miss that show.
Hey Taryl... the absolute best fluid to put in your tires that will give you two benefits is SLIME .... 1st the wieght
2nd won't ever have a flat
3rd won't freeze
4th won't rust or corrode your rims
;-) I use it in my wheels all the time plus I've had it in my truck tires (32") for several years now without a problem. Makes the best balancer ever too. ;-)
Tilt switch should be turned 180°. Up is up, down is down. Good job.
Put a ratcheting tie down strap around the outside of the tire, while you're cranking it down the sides or bead of the tire will move closer to the seat on the rim. Then there's the starter fluid or gas trick to seat tires.
Thats a Masterpiece!
Your awesome taryl. And very funny 😁
Good job! Curious how you put the back tires together.
Thats a great investment to the business! I need one of those tools! Good video
This thing would feel nicely at home in the Mad Max wastelands!
looks like the tilt switch would be comfortable on the handle bars
Necessity is the mother of invention good job
When you have welded all them accessories to your tractor you may have to fit a bigger engine/motor for it to move, hur hur hur hur! Greetings from Australia.
landscape rake or blade to maintain the gravel lot after you drag all the mowers around. longer forks like you said...
That is AWESOME Taryl! Love those tires! Did you ever get a set of forks made for mow-tow??
This video is great. I used to do this stuff all the time and this video is just motivation to get me back out in the garage.
Don't make eye contact with my fans! 😂😂😂 PRICELESS!👏👏👍👍
Love it! Hilarious and funny! Ya oughta rename it “Mad Max” Mow Tow cause he’s a lean mean towin machine! Keep up the great work! I hope to see more!
Great video , Nice to see such enthusiasm even after so many yrs of doing this kind of wk.
Satistraction! Holy cow, I will never hear the RS song with the old lyrics in my head.
Great job Taryl when are you taking this act on the road, it will be a sell out you got to love it!
35:00 He was so proud of this you know he came up with it after pokin smot.
You should mount the tilt switch on the opposite handle from the horn instead of reaching for it.
remember to fill the tires, only about 70percent, so there is some air space, so a bit of air pressure can be used so the tire stays flexible,
I like your attachment for towing from the front. You must have been looking at a heavy wrecker when you thought of that lol
Taryl is in the tractor repo business after this.
What? no Hamm's holder! Well done, Taryl I like it.
Best tool a shop could have. Is a Mow Tow!
As they say in "Merrie Ole England",...Bloody genius!
I would extend the gear shifter so you didn’t have to bend forward to change gears. I would also put the raise and lower toggle switch in the other handle like the horn button
First great video thanks a lot taryl this is a great series and very fun
Since having problems with my mower (electrical) and seeing how to fix it via your channel I'm hooked but please please please tell me where I can get a set of teeth like yours......regards

"Satistraction" on 2x speed is AMAZING!
Instead of lift bars, use mow tow wheel dollies for the mowers with all flat tires! 2 Dollies in front or back and pick up the other end!
Like the garage dollies for cars but bigger wheels.
The Beast is ready!
Best video yet. Elkskins 2020.🇺🇲
Very cool project Taryl!
Brilliant Taryl , love the Clown outfit Te He .
I love it, but it does remind me of a Rube Goldberg contraption of a lawn mower tow vehicle! Great ideas and execution Sir!!!
This the kind of project that never ends.
You need a flashing yellow light on it. Good job

Great video. It needed a multiple like choice. Amazing ideas.
When is the "Satis-Traction" single coming out???
LOVE the clown outfit, gravel burnouts, and song!....You are NUTS, but PLEASE don't change!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!......GREAT WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very cool. Made one out of a john deere 1445 front deck mower few years back it can do some surprising stuff.

Its really cool , i think maybe if it was mine id put the (up down switch) on handle bars
Hi I enjoyed the video very much. Maybe for the winter you could rig a snow plow blade on the mow tow . Maybe even a snow blower mounted up front could be useful. These are just ideas I had . I hope they're useful to you.
