Mom is a rock star with the camera! Jaquie, I am sending you all the love and prayers I can! Please know that although I never reply on the Patreon updates, they are very very welcome and appreciated - I love getting them and they give a chance to send you more positive energy!
After watching your video I cried because I was so happy for you. I thought about you all weekend and prayed you were doing ok. I'm so glad Judd came home on Saturday. Hi Judd! You are quite the woman Jaquie. What an inspiration you are to everyone. I'm so glad to see you feeling better. Oh, tell your mom I said Hi and I think she's amazing!
The first time I came off anesthesia, I was given one of those popsicles that have two sticks and you break it into two popsicles. I ate half of the first one before dropping it and tried to stuff the second one up my nose. XD I'm so thankful that you got your new tube! I'm glad you made it through the weekend.
YAAAY! 👏👏👏👏 you did it, so proud of you😊💪 Thanks Momma for filming ❤️ YAY Judds home safe, WELCOME HOME! It was funny last time but it is more important to see you better.
That bear hugger device is a GOD-SEND! When I had my tonsillectomy, they used that at the hospital and I did not shiver before surgery like I normally do. I actually had to tell them to turn it off because I was warm enough and was starting to sweat! LOL! I usually shiver after anesthesia, too, but the anesthesiologist at my last surgery gave me a scopolamine patch which helped and I felt no nausea or weird side effects.
So glad to see you back and feeling better, and with the new tube! Also, I didn't realize how much your vlogs have become part of my day to day until this break! So, the past couple days I just marathoned some of your older vlogs that I had never actually seen. :)
Yes, of course, Judd too! He's such a great guy and he IS funny. He had his mouth full today, otherwise I feel like his classic sign-off face is with the wide-open eyes and open mouth has become his "thing". LOL-Having said this, you are definitely correct... the fork wave was hilarious!
I'm so glad everything worked out great! Good news that you now know what possibly caused the kink so you can keep on top of that. You attitude is always so awesome! It's wonderful in this day and age.
So glad that everything went well for you. Glad that you can work towards daytime feeds again and that you can, most importantly regain your strength. Didnt expect you back so soon doing your vlogs but its so good to have you back i so enjoy your vlogs and thank you for letting us into your lives xx
Yaaay! Congrats Jaquie! I’m so glad your new feeding tube swap went well! And your skin is looking a bit better under the tape on your port! So many wonderful things to celebrate!! Time to get back to doing what makes you happy! Good luck with your college, and getting ready to go back. Always rooting for you! God bless!
You look better already! So glad everything went well and ever since you’ve mentioned that a kinked tube could be a regular issue coz of the anatomy of your body I’ve been praying there’s some solution and you don’t have to go through this regularly! So I hope the balloon thing helps and works and you’re good! :) take care xx
I think it's really great that almost every vlog you say things you're thankful for. I assume a lot of people look at your situation and think that you aren't very optimistic but you are always looking forward to what you do have and what you can do rather than what you don't have and what you can't do. Just keep going Jaq you've got this!
Glad you are home. Love your vblogs, you, JUDD and Harlow!! I watch you every day and you brighten my day. I have a autistic grandson with Tourette’s and explosive anger disorder, a daughter with epilepsy and a hubby on dialysis’s so I understand some of your daily struggles. Take care.
I'm so glad you are able to get a new tube with no kinks! I'm so proud of you to go through with this! I'm glad you are going to get well soon and Judd is back! Keep Moving Forward! Love ya Jaquie, Harlow and the rest of the team!
Yay! Congrats on meeting another goal. The same weekend you had success changing your feeding tube I had success with some new medicine for my anxiety and panic attacks just in time for my family coming to visit (my husband and I live in Virginia and our families are still in South Carolina) I was able to enjoy going out to dinner and to the beach and even climbing a lighthouse on one of the Navy bases near us. Congrats again and let's keep moving forward!
Glad it all went well. I am having a very large knee surgery tommorow and I am so nervous but I will "Keep Moving Forward!" You really help motivate me on rough days
I was waiting for you to hollar "NO KINKS" when you were coming out of anesthesia, lol. So glad they were able to get the new tube without complications. I was praying for you hun.
So happy to see your doing better. I understand not being able to be in the heat. My MS is worse in heat and stress. I am in Texas so it is a nice 71 degrees and it feels amazing. Happy that you will have the good weather soon.
This actually helped me ENORMOUSLY, because I never thought about asking for a different type of sedation! Last time I had surgery, I told the surgeon to let me know before he pushed it because it makes me so anxious and miserable. He didn't, so I went under in a panic, and when I woke up, I punched him. All prior sedations and surgeries, have resulted in me having to be restrained, given more nausea medications, and even having to be given other sedatives. I wonder if Ketamine has a reduced risk of seizure compared with other sedatives as well. (I had massive seizures after my knee surgery.) So odd that I never thought to ask. Thank you!
Chronically Jaquie they've always given me versed too but I don't know if that's because of my seizure disorder or if that's just how my doc does things. He never said why. But next time they do anything that requires anesthesia I'm DEFINITELY asking for ketamine. The strange thing is that I had asked my pain doc about it and she seemed to think that it didn't last long enough to be worth doing it. I am of a different mind, being that I'm the one suffering from pain 24/7 head to toe!!
It's amazing how they don't offer patients more information sometimes. My poor mom had a lot of surgeries and always got sick from anesthesia (including after abdominal surgeries, ouch!) Finally, for her last surgery, the anesthesiologist suggested using two anti-emetic medications, and she wasn't nauseated for once after surgery! It irks me that no one ever thought of that before even with her history.
I'm so happy you're back!!! My 7 year old was wondering why I was so excited so I explained you were taking a break and that lead to a discussion about feeding tubes. He was really interested and had lots of questions which I was able to answer thanks to you.
Happy everything went smoothly n they had the anesthesia u wanted! That's terrific! N yay good job mamma w the taping! Thank u :) glad Judd is home n praying for u guys to have a nice evening together!! ❤
I hope there are medical professionals who watch your vlog. I know they are part of a very high stress profession which demands way too much of them, but sometimes I think the patient gets lost in the process. They need to consider how their decisions have long-term effects on those they are working with. Going without a feeding tube for a week when it's a life-or-death process for you seems extreme. My husband dealt with chronic kidney disease for 15 years. Sometimes it seemed getting a coordinated effort from all medical personnel involved was the hardest part of the situation. I'm glad you're happy with your team and that you're doing so much better.
There are a few doctors and nurses who have commented saying they like the insight my videos give them :) I honestly would have gotten in sooner but we did no learn that the kink was unfixable until late Tuesday. So Wednesday is when we got things going for replacement. I did not feel good but I was okay (:
You're absolutely right about the docs & nurses!! My pcp teaches residents at UTHealth SanAntonio & I've found that 95% of them are very open to learning about the rarer diseases such as mine that they might only see one paragraph about in MED school. I saw one resident yesterday that was especially interested in learning more about CRPS/RSD.
So happy to see you back. Glad that you got your new feeding tube and you had no problems with your anesthesia. Good to see you smiling again. Keep going forward! (Every time I heard that "Keep moving forward" it reminds me of the Disney movie "Meet the Robinson's". I don't know if you have every watched that movie but the Dad says that(it is his motto). Harlow seemed happy to see you back home, so she can watch over you. Keep up the good work.
So glad to hear you're doing better! I recently found your channel through your training videos. (They've been super helpful as I've started to train my own service dog, by the way!) I watched a few vlogs, got super addicted, and started watching them from day one. When I finally got all caught up a few days ago, I was so sad to learn you were having feeding tube problems again. But, I can already tell that this new tube is making a difference. You seem much happier and more like yourself. I hope things continue to get better from here!!
I was waiting to hear Jaquie sing and shout after the ketamine lol. Were so glad your feeling better and you should put that weight back on no problem. Don’t ever worry about taking time away for yourself we understand.
Hoping nothing but good things within the next few days! I have been loving the Kate Farms Chocolate Core Essentials while I have been coping with my recent hospitalization. Keep moving forward 💗💗💗
My daily routine wasn't the same without your videos!! I'm so glad you're back and that you're getting the proper nutrition you need. Hopefully now that you know how to check the balloon, you won't have any more issues like this! My love goes out to you and your family! :)
I'm so glad you have your feeding tube replaced, and that it went well. I've been praying for you, Judd and your family. God bless you for doing this vlog. It has helped me a lot.
So happy your procedure went well! Shaking after anesthesia/sedation is very normal- a new study found that a small dose of acetaminophen during sedation helps a lot. Your muscles are shivering to try and move circulation to warm you up. People with auto-immunity issues do so much better in cooler weather- that's proven too! I'd move to a cooler place, but all of my doctors and friends are here!
Glad to hear you got everything fixed. You should always keep in mind why you are making these videos and who you're making them for. When you boil it down, you are making these videos because YOU want to make them. You make them because you enjoy making them. When you no longer enjoy it, QUIT.
This may be my favorite video because you got your new feeding tube and seem to be feeling at least a bit better! Also, I love your mom doing the vlog- she has the cutest accent. Welcome back! We missed you but completely understand your need to take a break.
So glad your feed tube has been fixed. I suffer from GI issues and it's a bitch at times. I have been sick with gastroparesis and gastritis. Thankfully my issues are mild. My doctor thinks it's anxiety related.
Hi Jaquie, I am new to You Tube, as in signing up and being able to subscribe. I have been watching your channel for months on my Roku but was not signed in and I am still trying to figure out how to link things. Anyway I have been wanting to comment for a while on how much I enjoy your channel and how much I have learned from you. I too suffer from chronic illnesses and was having a hard time trying to cope with them. Your channel has helped me speak with my doctors get proper diagnosis (which is still being worked on) and just overall coping techniques to deal with these issues. I absolutely love Harlow, she is soooooo adorable. I love seeing the love that you and Judd have for one another and how your friends and family come together to help each other out. Thank you for all the time and effort that you put into your videos and know that I pray for you and your family. I am happy to hear the feeding tube has been replaced and you are able to receive the nutrition you need. Thank you again. Take care and God bless you.
chronically_ Jaquie. You are in my prayers. I am glad ya got your feeding tube worked out. I got my Chronically Jaquie moving forward T shirt. Love it. I had surgery today. In a lot of pain. I am in ICU for.a week. Judd, your mom and Harlow awesome. 💟💖💜🐕🐾🐾🙏🙏🐈🏥😷♿💗❄🐾🐾😷❄🍁💪🙏🙏💗💖💜🐕🐾🙏
Glad you're back! Since you were gone I was watching other videos that popped up. Surprisingly, I came across one with another young lady who had many of the same problems you have. She went to Mayo clinic and found out she had POTS, Ehlers-Danlos, she passed out, her stomach was paralyzed and had a feeding tube in her nose, nausea, vomiting, continual pain often severe, migraines, and was chronically ill. She and her Mom said she was perfectly healthy until she took the Gardasil vaccine. Anyway, you had mentioned you started passing out at 15 and this young woman was somewhere in that age bracket when she became chronically ill from the vaccine. I thought you might be interested to know that, I saved the video in case you wanted to see it. Again, glad you're back and hope you are feeling much better!
I have heard some people thinking that vaccine caused their issues. I did not get that vaccine. But we do know that my problems stems from my genetic mutations. Mayo also helped me get some of my diagnosis :)
Kathy Young I have POTS/Neurocardiogenic Syncope/ and while I was officially diagnosed at 19, I worsened considerably after Gardasil. I'm 42 now, and pre-menopause has triggered a downhill slide. No more vaccines at this time! I am now working on a fundraiser to go to see Dr. Blair Grubb at The Univ of Toledo.(I would never link that here out of respect for Jac!) I am so glad I didn't give my girls the Gardasil vaccine. I wish more parents were aware of this issue. (Lots of articles on PubMed). There are other theories of causational links for Pots, like Lyme, EBV, Guillain-Barre etc. I also have some genetic mutations that we are still narrowing down, like MTHFR. Pots is so complicated and Jaquie has so much more to deal with than just that! Thankfully, she has such a great attitude and uses her platform for good. She has taught me a lot, and I advocate for myself much better now. She has gotten me through many rough days! Thanks @Chronically_Jaquie💓
Yay!! So glad ur back on th right track and moving in th right direction. And I totally get being super comical when waking up from anesthesia- I’m that way too!
Yay! I’m so glad you had a great experience with your tube change! More importantly, I’m glad you guys suspect what caused the kink!! Let’s hope you don’t have to deal with them again!! I will have to talk to anesthesia about Ketamine. I had a horrific reaction to Propofol and would like to avoid it next time! Happy feeding!! :)
I'm so glad that everything went so well!! I have that shaking with all anesthesia. I find it annoying and actually fairly exhausting but it could be much worse. Before my spinal surgery this year I was getting regular ketamine infusions for my pain and I will be getting back to that soon which I am really excited for! Looking forward to your ketamine update video!
Kind of new to your issues, but I really admire you..I have been a pain patient and got addicted to opioids...was so fascinated by how it didn't tempt you
I'm glad you got your new feeding tube and I hope things start to look up soon. Having gastroparesis is really tough but you're really good at sticking through all the challenges and never giving up. Keep strnong!
I had a procedure last week and talked to my anesthesia team and was able to get Ketamine and it was soo much better for me too! I woke up not crying for the first time ever, I always cry after propofol. So happy ketamine is an option!
So glad you're back. Please pray for me. A storm came through Hickory NC last night (where I live) and in still without power. Hope things will get better soon
You already look so much more bright eyed, Jaquie! I'm so glad to hear the procedure went well without any complications or side effects. Good news! I hope today went well for you and that you continue to improve with each passing day. Daytime feeds sound like a great thing - here's hoping you get to them soon! xo Heather🇨🇦 PS, how far did you make it in the RIverdale series so far?
+Chronically Jaquie - Isn't it great?! Season 2 has started now too, so I find myself looking forward to Friday's now so I can watch the new episodes!!! xo
Mom is a rock star with the camera! Jaquie, I am sending you all the love and prayers I can! Please know that although I never reply on the Patreon updates, they are very very welcome and appreciated - I love getting them and they give a chance to send you more positive energy!

We can all breathe a sigh of relief. You sound so much better. Glad everything is ok.

I'm so happy you're feeling better! Your audience completely supports you, your health is the most important.
YAAAY! 👏👏👏👏 you did it, so proud of you😊💪 Thanks Momma for filming ❤️ YAY Judds home safe, WELCOME HOME! It was funny last time but it is more important to see you better.

Wow even from that short amount of time on your nutrition you sound so much better already! Awesome!
It's amazing, isn't it? I was so hoping this would be the case.
So glad to see you back and feeling better, and with the new tube! Also, I didn't realize how much your vlogs have become part of my day to day until this break! So, the past couple days I just marathoned some of your older vlogs that I had never actually seen. :)
I feel the same way. I binge watched the older vlogs too - can't go too long without my Harlow & Jaquie fix!
Heather D. Don't forget Judd... his fork waving at the end this time cracked me up!
So happy to hear the feeding tube change went well! Thank you for the updates on Patreon
I'm so glad everything worked out great! Good news that you now know what possibly caused the kink so you can keep on top of that. You attitude is always so awesome! It's wonderful in this day and age.
Jaquie after anesthesia is my favorite lol happy you got your new tube girl!
You look so relieved jaq. Glad everything’s all sorted with your feeding tube! Thumbs up to your mom for filming for us!

Time to get back to doing what makes you happy! Good luck with your college, and getting ready to go back. Always rooting for you! God bless!
You look better already! And so glad the vlogs are back :)
WELCOME BACK JAQUIE!!!! THANKYOU FOR WHAT YOU DO FOR OUR COUNTRY!!!!!
Take care.
So very glad everything worked out for you. You were truly missed. You look and sound better already.

You totally got this!
So glad the procedure went well and the vlogs are back!! :)
I was waiting for you to hollar "NO KINKS" when you were coming out of anesthesia, lol. So glad they were able to get the new tube without complications. I was praying for you hun.
Irony level:expert 😂 me too! or atleast question it.
hehe same
Ohmygosh same
Me too :')
Glad to have you back even though I watched you on Instagram. Welcome back and I'm glad your feeling better.
So happy to see your doing better. I understand not being able to be in the heat. My MS is worse in heat and stress. I am in Texas so it is a nice 71 degrees and it feels amazing. Happy that you will have the good weather soon.

I’m so glad everything is falling back into place for you. 😊
So glad you were able to get the issue resolved! And glad to see you back on TH-cam!
Glad you are back and on your way to health!
Your Mom did excellent on the vlogging!
I think so, too! :D
Agreed! Please thank her for doing that for us.
I'm so glad you're back! Hoping and praying for you to feel much better! Hugs to you, Judd, Harlow and your mom!
Good to see all of you again! A very cheerful video, thanks.

When you boil it down, you are making these videos because YOU want to make them. You make them because you enjoy making them. When you no longer enjoy it, QUIT.
Yes that is exactly my thinking :) Although I did not want to take a break, it was for the best and now I am back to doing what I love!
And we're glad to see you back. Just don't take a permanent "break" from life, pushing yourself to hard to make videos.
Thank you for sharing your experience! I'm so glad you finally got your feeding tube back!! Lots of love from Spain
Great to hear you got your tube fixed
Fingers crossed that the pain by it went away
Mami! I'm so glad your mom was with you. Happy you're better!!
Missed your vlogs and missed Judd! Glad to see you both back and that you are recovering💕
This may be my favorite video because you got your new feeding tube and seem to be feeling at least a bit better! Also, I love your mom doing the vlog- she has the cutest accent. Welcome back! We missed you but completely understand your need to take a break.

Glad to have you back jaquie was praying for you
Hope you're doing well, you guys rock! Praying for you!
so happy you’re doing okay !! 💜
It was literally like night and day seeing the nutrition change you from the beginning to the end of the video! So glad your tube is fixed!
Well, I had slept like 4 hours once I got home ;P But yes, it was like finally "eating" a good meal!
So glad you are doing better! You can tell to with that smile of yours!!
I understand why you took a break, but I'm so happy you are back!😋

I am happy to hear the feeding tube has been replaced and you are able to receive the nutrition you need. Thank you again. Take care and God bless you.

Best wishes, I hope you start to feel better!
Praise God everything went well for you. Continued prayers sent your way.
It is so good to See you again. Keep on moving forward.
Yah. So happy for you lady. Your inspiring me to keep going and push for answers and relief. Hugs your way
Yay!! So glad ur back on th right track and moving in th right direction. And I totally get being super comical when waking up from anesthesia- I’m that way too!
Yeah you are back again. I hope you are feeling better !!
Kind of new to your issues, but I really admire you..I have been a pain patient and got addicted to opioids...was so fascinated by how it didn't tempt you
I kept waiting for you to yell 'no pain' lol
Aww I love that your mom helped you film this one :) Go team Jaquie!
I'm glad you got your new feeding tube and I hope things start to look up soon. Having gastroparesis is really tough but you're really good at sticking through all the challenges and never giving up. Keep strnong!
So glad the new tube is in and you look so much better (as your blog went on)! Yay! 😆!
Glad you are back! I was concerned about you. Already looking better 👍🏻😉❤️

I had a procedure last week and talked to my anesthesia team and was able to get Ketamine and it was soo much better for me too! I woke up not crying for the first time ever, I always cry after propofol. So happy ketamine is an option!
That is amazing :D
Glad you feeling better! Happy you're okay and back🖖
You are looking so much better already. So glad you are doing well :)

I hope today went well for you and that you continue to improve with each passing day. Daytime feeds sound like a great thing - here's hoping you get to them soon! xo Heather🇨🇦 PS, how far did you make it in the RIverdale series so far?
